F**king hell stop moaning.

At times we were very loud yesterday, although not everyone was joining in ALL the time I can't remember a spell of longer than a minute when there was no singing.

The only negatives were the disgraceful burn De Vries song, the IRA rubbish and the just plain nasty police chants.

Overall though it was loads of fun. Saw Fez get LD3 full in the face for the second goal and the ensuing pile of bodies. Quality. :D

And was good to put some names to faces although didn't get a chance to introduce myself to everyone - monk I was the tall guy standing in front of you (I think).

The funniest was seeing the state of those wooden seats on the way out. Absolute carnage. Kokopops took a photo we may see the evidence on here!

I can garuntee that will not be the case. I can see what can be done in that stand and you were nowhere close to it. As for filling up the away section, there were loads of empty seats. As for palaces crowd, thats what happens when taylor is manager, just a total disgrace yesterday.

As i was there yesterday, i want to clarify a few items, as to be honest, i am sick of some drivel that is spouted by the ignorant and biased. Officially, Leicester sold 1,405 tickets in advance (see lcfc.com), but that does not include sales on the gate. These are never included in away statistics (i do not know why).

Secondly, we were extremely loud as one incident confirmed my opinion. When Crystal Palace scored the reaction of the fans in the Holmesdale chanting "Your not singing anymore" with great venom illustrated our great support. From the back of the stand of the Arthur Wait, you get a good perspective of noise and with all due respect Palace, i have heard better from you and you were outsung from 30 minutes before kick-off to the 90th minute.

Yes we had moments when we stopped, but i am stating quite categorically we were great today. Bitter grapes Palace and to those Leicester fans that feel that this was not the case, i feel quite sorry as i enjoyed the passion on display.

I was a few rows from the back and it was only the back 15 rows that seemed to be singing for the majority of the game.?Im not sayin i didnt enjoy the game or the atmosphere, but it wasn't the best vocal backing ever given on this earth. Did you not go preston last year?

Yes and Barnsley, but i am sticking by what i have said. The second half demonstrated to me how good the backing was. I loved the "Leicester, Leicester" and "Leicestershire" chants. Great stuff! Plus, there was a good variety of songs. I was also at Barnsley which was brilliant in terms of numbers, but more is often achieved with fewer fans.

Although, the noise was very good that day. Plus, i would rather believe what one Leicester fan felt being in the Palace end and even by his own admission we gave excellent backing. I also spoke to Palace fans on the train afterwards and they were impressed. If we can do better, lets be seeing it at Forest!

So what if you sold 1500, still didnt sell out. Should i be saying palace sold 3000 at southapton?

26,000 against Blackpool. Enough said. :D

You should worry about your own home support instead of banging on about how many tickets we did or didn't sell.

You were poor yesterday and while I don't quite share foss1884's view we DID out-sing you for large periods.

I wasnt saying anything bout numbers, just replying to someone who was in regards to you not selling out...which kinda didnt mean anything. How many away supports dont outsing the home support? its same in every ground in the country. Palaces home support is always rubbish not helped by the holmesdale not beeing acoustically friendly. I bet Blackpool out sung you last week.

Guess only 5 will come with less noise than you sorry.

Frankly, that statement shows you are as reliable as a Gestapo agent working for the Propaganda Department. May i remind you that in past seasons, you have only ever brought a little over a thousand to The Walkers where your only chant is "Eagles!" Keep on working on your song sheet.

Is this an admission? I will take it as such. Cheers. You are not the worst home support, but glad to see that you recognise that we gave good support.

I havent been to many away games but I've seen worse support than that by a long way! I thought the palace support was pretty poor, and they only had 2 songs!

For periods I was sat in row 10 and the chanting at the back was Ok but the people down the front werent singing so much, then I moved to the back in the second half and obviously its difficult to tell how loud you are when you're middle of the singing group

JTB - that makes sense, I wondered who it was I was jumping around with on the second goal!

"Peter Taylor, what a willy puller!"

"Taylor, whats the score?"

"Oh when the blues..."

"We are by far the greatest team"

"Keep the blue flag flying high"

"E-ay-e-ay-e-ay-oh up the football league we go..."

"When your smiling..."

"Who are ya?"

Your not singing anymore!"

"Shall we sing a song for you?"

"Your supposed to be at home!"

You can talk. A good few years ago I can remember coming down with Leicester and being impressed by your fans vocals but as someone who was forced to sit in the Palace end, I was surprised by the lack of support that your fans had for a side that won their opening game 4-1 away from home. 1400 or 2000, you were outsung bigtime so just admit that Leicester kept you quiet and that Scowcroft has a mole on his face the size of Wales. :D

To be fair palace's home support is a darn sight better than ours.

Agreed, they have two reasonable singing sections that have in the past been very loud. To show how unbiased i am, i wrote the fans report for their ground on the football grounds guide.

Am I on my own here. but doesn't rating the support of fans say something more about the lack of anything of really inspiring on the pitch? On both sides.

1 Nil up, you still don't sing.

We've had better than yesterday i.e. preston and Barnsley as Maybes said but it all demonstrates how good our away support is these days.

Leicestershire la la la was sung about 8,976 times yesterday.

<_<

Yeah only becuase that fat tw@t who started on me, kept on friging singing it......then he started 10 german bombers....possibly the worst chant ever.
