James. Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Yeah only becuase that fat tw@t who started on me, kept on friging singing it......then he started 10 german bombers....possibly the worst chant ever. Not to mention "No surrender to the IRA". What a f**king ignorant, dated, stupid chant that is.
foss1884 Posted 19 August 2007 Author Posted 19 August 2007 Am I on my own here. but doesn't rating the support of fans say something more about the lack of anything of really inspiring on the pitch? On both sides. I suppose, talking about the great support yesterday numbs the fact that we conceded a late goal. We gave great vocal encouragement. But, i have to admit, our passing was slick and crisp in parts yesterday. Very entertaining. Shame about the end product. A huge improvement on last season and i can see progress on and off the pitch. Lets keep it up!

Did you see him swinging those lights above us? They could have fallen, given their ground is in such a bad state. Was disappointed we didnt sing dododo jimmy wesolowski
Geo V Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Not to mention "No surrender to the IRA". What a f**king ignorant, dated, stupid chant that is. keep singing it and it may come back into use in about 2035

However, we have had more to cheer about as well, the two appear to go hand in hand. But I really don't like this bigging up of your own fans. It's like getting a pat on the back for getting up in the mornings, no matter how hard it is!

Well I personally think I do deserve a pat on the back for getting up at 6 every morning thank you very much.

Knighton Matt Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 The support was pretty average - reasonable volume and limited array of songs. But agree with Lisa what's with all this back-patting? No-one really cares let's be honest. That big bloke was an idiot as well he kicked a chair into me and my mate, pushed numerous people over and some pretty disgusting chanting and more chair breaking at the end. Somewhat spoiled what was otherwise a very enjoyable day.
purpleronnie Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Our support was ok nothing special, especially compared to some of the away fans at the walkers.
Matt Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Just got back, What a great day?! Great Day, Great Atmosphere, Great Proformance, can't ask for to much more. I'll accept draws (Even if it is last minute equaliser's) on the odd occasions if we play like that all the time. Kisnorbo Ohh ohh Kisnorbo....

tshine Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 1 Nil up, you still don't sing. We've had better than yesterday i.e. preston and Barnsley as Maybes said but it all demonstrates how good our away support is these days. here here
tshine Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 I'd advise a change in avatar advice taken, although he has gone, nils is still my hero
Floating Fox Posted 20 August 2007 Posted 20 August 2007 Fantastic isn't the word I'd use to describe it tbh. Fantastic would be to see the WHOLE away end, and then stand & sing for 90 mins like the back 5 rows did. Some support can beat that week in week out and Palace have one of the better home supports in the league, although saying that their Ultra's we're ULTRA weak - Big Disapointment.
Floating Fox Posted 20 August 2007 Posted 20 August 2007 Although saying that we have the highest attendence in the championship
