Webbo Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Only recognised two in that lot. I bet 1 of them was 'Orkner Skullsplitter'.
Asha Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 I would have hoped Stella was up there. Shocking. Oh well we continue with our lives.
Steven Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 I bet 1 of them was 'Orkner Skullsplitter'. Fullers London Pride and Ranmore Ale.
Rincewind Posted 20 August 2007 Author Posted 20 August 2007 I've only had a couple of those too. Not really a mild drinker so I don't know what the winner was like. It's only the second time since 1990 that a mild has won. On the Monday before the festival started we went on a pub tour (crawl) The beer is expensive in London. Was paying £3 plus for a pint. Was mainly in the Knightsbridge area. can't remember the names. think one was the Grenadier and one was the Star. But if you don't live in London this information will not be of any use to you.
