Tommy G Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 His cocky attitude, he's got nothing to be cocky about? Apart from he shagged that bird in that film called 'The Business", now she was tasty!
Thracian Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 I've never seen Kasabian and thought I'd find out what I'd been missing. I wish I hadn't bothered. What a shit programme, at least the 10 minutes I could stand. As for the presenter, words fail me. I remember mentioning Kasabian to my middle son who travels the country watching all sorts of bands and, expecting some enthusiasm he just grunted. That should have been enough really.
Joe. Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 Thracian involved in the music discussion thread? What sort of music do you like?
Thracian Posted 24 August 2007 Posted 24 August 2007 Thracian involved in the music discussion thread? What sort of music do you like? Depends on my mood - I really like so many types of music from heavy rock, through reggae, soul and dance music through to ballads and the classical masterpieces. I go from Meatloaf to Enya to Beethoven I'm afraid. I'm what most young folk would describe as archaic in that I'd as soon listen to old names like Meatloaf, Bryan Adams, Springsteen, Asia, Cher, Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Elvis, Isaac Hayes, Bob Marley and Millie Jackson as anything. I've even got my own juke box with most of the records originally installed when it was first placed in a Northamptonshire coffee bar. My middle son has just suggested we go round to some of the regular rock pubs in Coalville, Nottingham, Leeds etc so I'm looking forward to getting a bit more up to date. It's not a question of closing my mind to modern music. I just have so much music of my own that I enjoy that when it comes to playing things I like or listening to current CD's or a radio show I always seem to choose what I know I'll like. I've just bought a couple of record collections and know even now that I'll never have time to listen to every LP...but I'm going to try.
