Milky Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 The West Indies will kick themselves after this defeat. SA have chased down 206, with two overs to spare, largely due to the three dropped catches, and 28 extras including about 25 wides! How can you bowl 25 wides in 20 overs!
Brainy Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Whats the average batting score in Twenty20 anyway?
Milky Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Whats the average batting score in Twenty20 anyway? That would be a pretty pointless statistic considering the variety of pitch and stadia.

Comedy fielding and some of those wides were shockers. This competition is a fun event but has little to do with cricket, its more like baseball.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I feel a little sorry for the Windies, ever since the brilliant Courtley Ambrose and Courtney Walsh retired they have struggled with the ball.
Manwell Pablo Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Pakistanis looking very shakey against the mighty Scotland, 50-3 after 8 overs

Manwell Pablo Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 116 - 6 Scotland have a sniff! Who's gone?
Durnerz Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 This female commentator is doing my head in.
Milky Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Who's gone? Younis Khan. Big wicket for them.
Milky Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I just switched over to sky sports news, and it has live pictures of Sussex and Pakistan player Rana Neved being moved into an ambulance.
Manwell Pablo Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 158 with one over left. Not great but should be enough.
Milky Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 158 with one over left. Not great but should be enough. Yeh, you'd still expect them to win. Unless Ali Brown can produce some magic.
Milky Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Scotland are giving this away. 60-6 now, and the last 5 wickets have just been looped up in the air for easy catches.
Joe. Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Hmmm not a great start to the sweepstake eh Milky Joe? That's what you call a pummeling.
Milky Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Hmmm not a great start to the sweepstake eh Milky Joe? That's what you call a pummeling. Early days, and all that.
Geo V Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Australia 19-3 against Zimbabwe 4.4 gone 134-7 with 3 balls left
Milky Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 This pitch is perfect for the Zimbabwe type bowler. The Aussies really need to start taking the pace off, because at the moment the pace is coming on to the bat nicely. They need 85 off 78 with 8 wickets left. Zimbabwe will win this if they don't put the slow bowlers on.
