Ric Flair Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 What's going on with them? The loss of Brunt and McLean can't have helped, but I thought Laws had really got them playing last season. Expected them in the top 10 this season right from the off. I think he can't be many defeats off the sack. Let's hope we can still catch them on this bad run when we play them up there. Our record against them at their place is horrendous.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 But this year we don't have Andy Johnson. Hoping for a big win up there for once. We never seem to do well in Sheffield.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Unless we play there as a neutral venue.CLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARIDGE!!!! That's true. I always forget that was played in Sheffield. I was on holiday for both games and they weren't showing the replay on TV anywhere. That night is a big black hole in my LCFC life. I found out the next morning on BBC World.
lookwhaticando Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 hahaha! I didn't realize they'd lost a sixth game now. And a year ago we thought we were in trouble when we lost our first two. Five losses on the bounce was their worst ever start to a league campaign... they'll have trouble beating six straight losses in the future. On a related note, I'd be happy to see 3 of the bottom 4 relegated - Palace, QPR, Wednesday.
Joe. Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I'm pretty shocked to see them where they are. I can't remember whether I actually tipped them for playoffs at the start of the season  No doubt they'll go and beat us though...
filbertway Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 They've got gary cahill and lee Hendrie now on 3 month loans haven't they? That should help them start moving up the table.

Manwell Pablo Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 Lee Hendries out for 8 odd weeks so I wouldn't really see the point in a 3 month loan deal

Geo V Posted 20 September 2007 Posted 20 September 2007 In the summer I was wondering why I picked up the paper to see them linked to players like Freddy Eastwood and Billy Sharp as I thought they were skint. Still, they were never that good and have lost a couple of decent players so progression from last season would have been a little ambitious. Where did that Brunt money go??!!
