CL needs to transfer a player in sooner or later the defence really needs help

keeping a clean sheet aint that bad.

Stearman sounds like he is having a good game :)

i agree with u but dublin and dabizas are gettin too scary back there

Well it had a draw written all over it...

At least we kept a clean sheet. No stupid goals from set pieces, on the other hand, CL's promise that Conners and MDV would blossom in this game didn't quite turn out like that...

we gotta keep faith with mvd and connors . we aint got many other options

well i just got back from the game and honestly it was one of the shittest games i have ever watched, we were shocking and so were they, the ball was being given away literally every pass but then was coming back as Reading were just as crap, connolly needs to start playing as a striker. mdv tries holding the ball up and flick ons etc but connolly is never anywhere to be seen! at one point mdv had 5 defenders round him and no one to pass to!! we need to sort it out and quick!

It was a pretty poor spectacle. Neither team created much in front of goal, but at least we looked better defensively, especially from set pieces.

Stearman looked very composed at right back again. He didn't start well when he hacked down Brooker after about a minute, but after that, he started to get in to the game and demonstrated a good understanding with Gillespie down the right.

Again we played some nice passing football at times, but the final ball was lacking. Connolly employed the wide areas as usual, leaving de Vries a little isolated up there by himself on occasions.

A point is a decent result, but Reading were evidently lacking in confidence and were there for the taking...

Totally agree with that. Tiatto drifted infield quite a lot today and left Jordan exposed quite a bit but other than that it was a very solid defensive line. The Ref wasn't very good today, but nor was our performance to be honest :ermm:

On paper 0-0 looks like a good result. Except that it isn't. Reading maybe 7th in the table but their current league form is bottom three. And this is the league where everyone is supposed to be able to beat everyone else (except Rotherham -embarrassed cough).

Our great 'achievement' of 'only' losing 1-2 at Ipswich has been put in the shade by the exploits of the mighty Watford and QPR at Portman Road. In fact we have only recorded one win on the road since you-know-who left. ONE AWAY WIN IN FIVE MONTHS. We had three in five weeks when the great unmentionable was here.

The worst thing is that we are getting feebler and feebler.

ok that is fair enough but getting feebler and feebler rubbish so how come we are inthe quater finals of the FA cup and have a realistic chance of getting to teh semis o cant say that is feble! we have also signed a what looks like a quality atracking midfielder in Hghes and are creating chances.

Chandler why do you want ro be different all the time i think you might be Micky haunting us! Whats it like in coverntry?

you dont seem to want to support us.

of course you can have your opnion but why do you want cause an agruement and upset people all the time?

Scarborough,

I am sick to death of you and others (several undergraduates amongst them) posting on here and ignoring all conventions of spelling, grammar and punctuation.

It insults the reader and really pisses me off. Are you the semi-educated ****wit you make yourself out to be?

Your literacy is the least of your worries. You also have a profound problem with your reasoning. Why don't you reflect for a couple of minutes before posting? Don't you realise that the stuff you key in when the blood is rushing to your head is just nonsense? Don't you check things when you've cooled down?

Finally, in answer to the points that you raised: cup form often compensates for poor league form or lowly league position (Millwall and Chesterfield are good examples from recent years); Hughes, on the basis of what I've seen so far, is not the dynamo you are making him out to be (the majority on here would back me on this); our goals to chances ratio is not improving and our goals to games ratio is not improving.

As for upsetting fickle boneheads - NOTHING GIVES ME GREATER PLEASURE!!!

To be fair, it seems like drunk talk from Scarby  when you see that it's posted at 3:13 am local time on a saturday night, it just might confirm my guess.

You're right about us not doing well on the road, which is weird really. We've been doing great away in the FA Cup, so what makes it so different to playing away in the league? On the other hand, we're marginally better at home than under we-know-who. In all, result-wise, we've been slightly worse off than before the change in management, that's well true. But haven't we been making lots more goal chances recently? Reading apart, we've had plenty of chances at Stoke, Ipswich and a few at Charlton of late, from what I gather. We're not sharp though, and that needs to be addressed. Hopefully CL will sort it out. I know you're holding a grudge and that you're not willing to back CL just yet, Chandler, but has he not sounded reasonable when interviewed? He certainly sounds like he knows the job he has to do, and he sounds like he knows how to tackle them. He's been as honest as you can expect a manager to be, and he's shown that he has decent tactical awareness too. But I'll wait before passing judgement on him, whether it bé good or bad. But he has made a slightly positive impression on me already...

As in this CL

"The game was poor and I'm glad I didn't pay to see it." the Foxes boss said.

Bet that makes Macey happy ;)

Correct i was drunk Shen and Chandler if you read other posts other than your own pointless dribble or would know that!

I have said before that i once stuck up for you but you really are worthless! you serve no purpose on this forum apart from to call other posters fickle boneheads which you do so often its getting boring.

Your posts rabble on and on and no one really bothers to read them as they all lead to the same thing - how good MA was and then calling people stupid immature names.

I suggest that you get a life and act your age! i dont think you are even a city fan! i bet you havent even managed to get to 10 games in 10 years. You are a worthless piece of shite that gets of on correcting grammer and being a twat.

And dont think for one minute that you have got to me because you havent, your just a prat that wastes vauble space and memory.

Scarborough 1-0 Chandler the dickheadd

lollollol
