Replace like for like and remain with the same team. It's a winning team, McClaren has struck on a winning formula with a mix of luck and judgement, dont change it or accept the consequences?!

Geo V Posted 14 October 2007 Posted 14 October 2007 Elano. A closet Man City fan or a lover of all things Brazilian??! I can see why we would look to change the system away from home on a dodgy pitch against a side that we don't actually have to beat but I cant see the sense in dropping the best defensive midfield player we have played over the last 3 games, ie Gareth Barry! We should be clever and try to tighten the wings so I can see why people think that away from home SWP should be rested but cant think who we could play out on the right who is more defensively minded. The problem is historically whenever England have changed the system we always seem to get dicked. Lets hope it doesnt happen again.
