Floating Fox Posted 14 October 2007 Posted 14 October 2007 FA Fail to fine Leeds Over Pitch Invasion "From the meeting we had with the police and Leeds United it was clear they had taken action to identify and deal with the individuals involved. "Therefore it was decided that no further action was required to be taken against Leeds United. "We are satisfied that the individuals were responsible for the event that day and that every effort has been made to find them and punish them with bans from the stadium. "That will send a message out their actions are not acceptable and we will work with Leeds United to ensure there will be no repeat." - FA Spokesman Right....So why is that Celtic are fined £25'000 for 1 fan going on in a celebratory act but yet Leeds are not fined when Hundreds run onto the pitch, in a violent manner, becasue they're pathetic little club was going down to League 1?
Ashley Posted 14 October 2007 Posted 14 October 2007 I think Leeds United have sufferd enough recently
lee7 Posted 14 October 2007 Posted 14 October 2007 like they were ever going to find all the fans that went onto the pitch if there were hundreds.
Floating Fox Posted 14 October 2007 Author Posted 14 October 2007 I think Leeds United have sufferd enough recently Thats not possible like they were ever going to find all the fans that went onto the pitch if there were hundreds. Yeah but they should still have fined the club, inkeeping with all the HealthAndSafety bollocks....Like I said £25k for Celtic and nothing for Leeds, makes plenty of sense. NOT!
Daggers Posted 14 October 2007 Posted 14 October 2007 Celtic received exactly the same level of fine from the FA that Leeds did.
Linekaaaah Posted 15 October 2007 Posted 15 October 2007 Like I said £25k for Celtic and nothing for Leeds, makes plenty of sense. NOT! Well, if Celtic were fined £25k for one fan, surely it'd make sense for Leeds to be fined at least £250,000. And docked some more points too. Just for the hell of it
Nath Posted 15 October 2007 Posted 15 October 2007 If we all go on the pitch after beating chelsea... Will we be punished? If so... Why? Leeds got let off...
David O'Leary Posted 15 October 2007 Posted 15 October 2007 I think Leeds United have sufferd enough recently There's always time for more...
Ashley Posted 15 October 2007 Posted 15 October 2007 Thats not possible You're evil But then again its Leeds United ....
Asha Posted 15 October 2007 Posted 15 October 2007 I think Leeds United have sufferd enough recently I agree. Notice how they're going to revenge by winning League One easily. Then they'll be back up....
