Wherethefoxhat? Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 After being with my girlfriend for a few weeks/months/whatever, she said that we never really go out together very much so I had a brainwave, took her to the Carling cup game against Macclesfield about a year ago then took her for a kebab at marios. Didn't go down very well : Can you blame her????
Monk Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Manwell should get involved in this thread. I think being a Leicester fan, standing at the back of the kop and looking an easy target might come to mind... I've never had any trouble with being a supporter apart from endless years of taunts at school in the early 90's - i.e. people singing 'leicester city are so shitty tra la la la la la la la' to me
foxer Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 A few years ago when we had just played everton at home (0-0 or 1-1, cant remember) a mate and i, we were about 11 at the time were walking along and was talking loudly about how bad everton were and how we should have won. next thing i knew, this lanky everton fan,(roughly sixteen) came along and smacked my mate in the face. caught him a beauty, and my mate wasnt even the one doing the talking! i felt pretty guilty!
andyh1884 Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Funny that this thread shouls pop up! I was in Birmingham last night to watch the enemy. Plenty of Cov fans had gone over. Singing about their "Homes". I started singing Leicestershire la la la, with two of my mates, to turn around and see everyone around me staring. I had that on the train all the way back to Cov - a group of about 15 wasted 16-year-olds. It was the slow train that stopped everywhere as well so the nightmare was extended. I decided keeping my allegience to myself was the safest & most sensible option. Not sure the bunch of kids would've done much about it, just didn't think the missus would approve of me causing a ruck. Wound me up a treat though, little wan kers
Guest Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 I have missed important occasions (family and friends stuff). People know how much of a supporter I am, and if I have offended them at least they haven't said anything to me.

Free Falling Foxes Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Being a City fan has got me in trouble with my wife a few times. The worst one was about 14 years ago when the trees hammered us 4 - 0 I think it was. I kicked open a door which I thought was ajar. It wasnt, it was shut and I put a hole in it. Cue lecture about the fine example I was setting for the children. FFF

Sods Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 At least your sore throat would back up your bullshitting! Exactly, that was the whole idea. Most of the time i would be depressed as well so that would help. But when we had won it was quite obvious.

It was great under MON though, beating Spurs, doing well against Arsenal and winning trophies as I got to open the daft sods eyes but at the moment, all I can do is cower as they let rip
