ASH17LCFC Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 In a week when we could had been on our way to euro 08, be world champions and have F1 world champion. Could and has nearly ended up in disaster. What a week makes in sport. Come on Lewis
Brainy Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 ... so what? Did you expect England to win tonight?
purpleronnie Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 If we did I guess it would proove my point. My betting run continued with SA last night I was going to place a bet on Hamilton messing up but I decided against it. C'mon Hamilton proove me wrong, when it counts not every englishman chokes!
ASH17LCFC Posted 21 October 2007 Author Posted 21 October 2007 The perfect week is complete now. Im off to dust down my Germany shirt anyway.
Brainy Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Your sig cracks me up. Rugby team = bottlers? Lewis Hamilton = bottlers? I dont see you on an F1 track. You probably don't have the bottle to race in a kart at your local race track.

Milky Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 You'd have to be a complete twat to say the rugby team were bottlers. Hamilton aswell.
ASH17LCFC Posted 22 October 2007 Author Posted 22 October 2007 Hamilton bottled it big time ... All he need to do is finish 5th or higher and he showed his true English grit and bottled it. VIVA LA GERMANY.

syston_fox Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Hamilton bottled it big time ... All he need to do is finish 5th or higher and he showed his true English grit and bottled it.VIVA LA GERMANY. Not an easy task you know!! The Brazilian circuit is quite tough and if you cast your mind back then you may have noticed that a mechanical problem was the reason that he didn't finish in the top five. I think he actually put in a great performance in that race if you take out the first few corners!! From 18th to 7th was pretty impressive especially seeing as he pitted an extra time than most. There is no way that Hamilton can be accused of "bottling" it!! If you'd have offered him 2nd at the start of the season then he'd have snapped your hand off - why can't you just be pleased for the lad whose had a belting season!! I'm proud of what he's acheived and I think most people who know anything about formula one would say the same.

England are the best and England are great and now look at us ... Carlton Palmer said something really good ... English fans are good when they are winning ... Take Hamilton, people never cared about F1 before he started winning. In the rugby, people had given up on watching them untill they beat the aussies. Football is a different story though.

Yes, he showed his true English grit by climbing back from 18th to 7th! His fooking engine cut out and lost him 40 fooking seconds. The only person that has let this country down is you.

James. Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 VIVA LA GERMANY.Deutschland, Deutschland über alles, Über alles in der Welt, Wenn es stets zu Schutz und Trutze Brüderlich zusammenhält, Von der Maas bis an die Memel, Von der Etsch bis an den Belt - Deutschland, Deutschland über alles, Über alles in der Welt Trying desperately to get a reaction - how pathetic. Soon enough chap everyone will start ignoring you and your immature attention seeking will backfire. Right now you're just showing yourself up. And not for the first time.
Asha Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I translated as; VIVA LA GERMANY Germany, Germany over everything, Over everything in the world, If it always to protection and Truth Like brothers hold together Of the Maas to to the Memel, Of the Etsch to at the Belt - Germany, Germany over everything, over everything in the world If not seeking a reaction, he may be attracted to Didi Hamann. To the straight guy that sounds slightly homophobic. 'Like brothers hold together' :laugh::laugh:
purpleronnie Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I always love how the vast majority still celebrate failure in this country. And usually have an excuse why we always lose. .
Boycie Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I always love how the vast majority still celebrate failure in this country. And usually have an excuse why we always lose.. I dont think we always have an excuse why we lose, it is just peoples pride for thier country. Unfortunetly you get idiots like that idiot Ash17lcfc who just talk crap, but if they all won last week he would be first on here saying how good the country is at sport. People are saying the football are bottlers but we are not out yet, Isreal havent lost at home for 16 qualifiers and Macedonia isnt a easy place to go for Croatia. The Rugby team did so well to even beat the Aussies and France so how can you call them bottlers. Lewis Hamilton was in his 1st season driving at F1 level and to come 2nd i dont think you can call him a bottler somehow.
