shilton_er Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 Megson now 6/4 favourite with Betfair to go to Bolton, MM your turn to be shiteon from a great height.
Joe. Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 I actually think he'll go to be honest. The bookies seem sure too.....
Guest seanfox778 Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 TBH it really wouldn't bother me, but why arn't Bolton going after Paul Jewell or somebody better then Megson. I just hope we don't get someone even worse like Souness or Staunton.
Koke Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 The bookies arent always right thats for sure! They often are though. I would be a bit disappointed if he left. He's done alright here so far.
Geo V Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 They often are though.I would be a bit disappointed if he left. He's done alright here so far. Last year a betting firm refused to take anymore bets on Paul Ince becoming our next manager. The same thing happened online with Sven to Chelski. The papers love to make a story seem to have more to it, the bookies latch on and as they know that a lot of gamblers just go with the money and then offer silly odds.

You not going for a punt on it then Geo?
Suffolk_fox Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 "If he goes, I'll bare my arse in Burton's window...."
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 The bookies arent always right thats for sure! yes that true
ASH17LCFC Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 Still, you never see a bookie riding a bike do you.
MPH Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 wouldnt be suprised if we found MM pictured coming out of ladbrooks.... Never a chap to miss out on a few bob....
Jack Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 Don't think he'll go. Don't think it would do the club any good if he did, we need stability, not a third manager this season.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 If he does go... I hear Martin Allen's free!! About the 4th time i've heard that........
Staf Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 I really cant see him going to a club that will be in the same league as us next year
Austin Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 If he goes he goes .. We'll keep trotting along, like the dogshit side we are and finish 17th again .. The more alcohol I consume, the easier it is too watch us BLUE ARMY.
shrood Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 Have him... We're possibly making some kind of progress but nothing significant enough to make me lose any sleep bout him doing one.
Asha Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 Yeah wouldn't bother me. Get Mourinho in for the Chelsea game. The headlines write themselves.
Brainy Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 I honestly wouldn't stand in his way. He's worked wonders with the defence but I honestly can't stand his negative football.
Ultra Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 I really cant see him going to a club that will be in the same league as us next year Don't be too sure. There are a lot of weak sides in the Premier League this year..
Geo V Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 You not going for a punt on it then Geo? I have just had a bet after reading a statement by Chris Coleman online not ruling himself out and saying he hasn't been approached yet. Ive put £80 on Chris Coleman at 5/1 on Betfair although he is 9/4 fav at some firms. I also see GM`s odds have drifted out to 7/2 as I type this.
