Thracian Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 I really do despair Kaebi and Ferreira in the new, revitalised Leicester City line up - despite the passing fact that both are reportedly injured and well short of first team match fitness. And lets have Grayson, Walsh and Taggart in a three man triumvirate - and not a single attack-minded man to be seen when the last thing we need is more dour defence. As a combined philosophy it should add another Act to a farce which looks set to run and run. Though how limpalong attackers like Ferreira an Kaebi fit in with the three wise old boys I'd will marvel at watching. Still let it happen and let MM tell us how he's "made the right decision" once more. So far he's carried on with Kelly - wrong decision. Appointed Allen - reportedly wrong decision. Made some bizarre summer signings - wrong decisions Appointed Megson - wrong decision. What the hell has he got right?

Just cos Grayson was a defender doesn't mean he's not attack-minded as a manager. Seems to me the only majorly wrong decision Mandaric has made is appointing the bloke you actually seemed to love.

If you mean Martin Allen I've still no sympathy for the reasons I've heard for his departure. At least we were starting to look like a football team - that is the sort that created chances and scored goals. Love him? Personally I would have despised him. Doesn't mean he wouldn't have been an effective and probably succesful manager. I doubt I'd like/love Ince or Newell I'm not a people person at the best of times. But they are the two I'd be choosing from for manager, unless there's anyone better with their sort of footballing philosophy. That is people who believe you have to score goals and attack the game to win football honours.

bullyboy123 Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Fullop Chambers Kisnorbo McAully Sheehan Farreria Wesolowski Clemence Mattock John Hume I want to see what exactly that John can do because he didnt do anything decent against Sheffield but then again nobody did. i dont know what Maddog is talking about because i think that Sheehan was one of the only people along with wesso who actualy did something, showed some passion and willingness to win! We missed Humes passion!!!
Father Ted Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Clemence has torn hamstring, expects to be out for 3 weeks Anyone got any news on Campbell's injury? Lets hope he's out forever, diving cheating stuck up git!

Guest seanfox778 Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 I forgot Andy Johnson plays for Barnsley now, with him in their midfield surley that boosts our chances of a win. Although knowing our luck i bet he has a blinder
brookfox Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 With Clem and King out tomorrow, and Kaebi and Ferreira unproven, injured and/or unfit I can't see many options tomorrow, particularly in midfield. It pains me to say it but... Fulop Bruno Kisnorbo McAuley Stearman (even typing it sends a shudder down my spine!) Weso Chambers Sheehan Hume Cort (we're desparate for someone who can hold it up) John Subs: Hendo, Mattock, Kenton, Fryatt, errrr me
Lisburn Fox Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Fulop N'Gotty Kisnorbo McCauly Chambers Weso King Mattock Hume Fryatt John Hendo Stearman Sheehan DJ Kenton 3 - 1 Win (I have full confidence in this team as long as all fingers, toes, legs and arms are crossed)
Thracian Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 With the size of the squad we've got it is frightening how few players are fit enough or good enough to be considered for the first team. Fulop James Chambers, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, Sheehan; Hume, Wesolowski, Porter; Ashley Chambers, Cort, John. Subs: Henderson, McAuley, Mattock/Beswick, Fryatt, Hayes.
brookfox Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 With the size of the squad we've got it is frightening how few players are fit enough or good enough to be considered for the first team. I thought that. When you hear "We've got a massive squad of 40 players" do they actually mean employees?! I can't think of a single position where we've got more than 2 realistic options (prmpot for many counter examples!). Possibly in attack with Hume, DJ, John, MDV, Fryatt and DJ. And I'm not convinced some of these are good enough!

Right Decision! it was like a morge in the dressing room and there was no atmosphere what so ever when he was around. When Megson turned up the atmosphere lifted but i do agree that it was the wrong decision to appoint him.

Not to be pedantic, but did you go in the changing room when Allen was boss?

Ummmm interesting about Allen. Often he struck me as intimidating and even a bully on occasions but that still doesn't convince me he wouldn't have moulded us a winning team. So who would you choose now?
THEfox Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 Fulop NGotty Kinsorbo McAuley Chambers Mattock Wesolowski King Hume John Fryatt Oh dear we're not very good are we. This is the best i could muster
Shroomjuice Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 I'd go with something like that, mine was Hume in King's place, Fryatt up with John and Chambers for Kaebi, but we think kinda alike, well in the tactics department anyhow..My team.. Fulop Kisnorbo Mccauley N-GottyChambers Clemence Weso Sheenan/MattockHumeFryatt John I think someone else also nearly picked the same side aswell on here, Simon was it? SPOT ON
Thracian Posted 26 October 2007 Posted 26 October 2007 SPOT ON As far as I'm aware two of those are injured.
