Master Fox Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I don't feel very well. Did you have to go to work?
The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Author Posted 1 November 2007 Did you have to go to work? Yes. Man am I struggling, mate. I really am no use to anyone today.
Master Fox Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Yes.Man am I struggling, mate. I really am no use to anyone today. Gutted mate. I'm thinking going out after the game wasn't such a good idea.
The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Author Posted 1 November 2007 Gutted mate. I'm thinking going out after the game wasn't such a good idea. I suppose to a degree it has to be done. I must be out of practice because I know I didn't eat yesterday.. but even taking that in to consideration, I was ridiculously spannered. I hugged about 10 people I don't know during the game though. The equalising goal celebration was amongst the best I've experienced. I ended up ages away from where I'd been standing.

Not eating and having a session is never good. I was lucky enough to have a meal down before the game. It's was unbelievable. And for that ten minute period when we were infront was quite phenomenal. Like you say I've never experienced anything quite like that supporting Leicester. Think you had abandoned your seat at half time and sort of decided standing at the back was the better option. When the second goal went in i threw my phone at the blokes head who was sitting infront of me by accident.

I spent the last 20 minutes standing on a seat at the back. My hands hurt from clapping and my throat hurt from singing. Alex and I actually got quite a few chants started from the back which swept across the stand. What a night.
Alexikokopops Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 What a delightful meeting. I ate a Cornish pasty and some crisps all day, not a wise choice. Cheaper to get drunk though.
Master Fox Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 It was brilliant. I want to go back and do it all again!! When i got to my seat and heard Iwan is a Welshman i knew i was in the best place! I actually didn't sit down for the entire game. It was quality standing at the back!

I'd love to know how often that was sung last night. Chelsea fans must think we're crazy.
Guest Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I feel that I've missed out on a beautiful moment.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 The girl I went with woke up this morning with a large bruise on her temple where I elbowed her when DJ scored the equaliser. Oops.

Well Fez, i have a cut on my head, where i headbutted Maybes tooth.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Amen brother. Well Fez, i have a cut on my head, where i headbutted Maybes tooth. Awesome. Love nights like that. Shame we weren't all together, I didn't really see anyone inside the ground at all other than when Holly came over at half time. I bet she enjoyed our goals in the second half.

I seen Hollybobs after the game. Ched and gang where about 20 seats away to our right.
The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Author Posted 1 November 2007 I didn't see Holly. I hope she was joining in with the Iwan is a Welshman though.
Joe. Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I only saw Bert and Maybes, would have been decent if everybody was together like you say. Top night.
Simi Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I seen Hollybobs after the game.Ched and gang where about 20 seats away to our right. Surely your left, looking at the pitch? Was Fez up there to? Sounds like you lot had erm fun..
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Surely your left, looking at the pitch? Was Fez up there to? Sounds like you lot had erm fun.. Nah. Would have been ideal but no complaints.
Simi Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Nah. Would have been ideal but no complaints. Whereabouts were you situated then? I was with Ld3, SUAS, Joe, JME, Kilworth first half. Then moved second half and stood with Tommeh where I could see Bert and Maybes and Wilkesy!
