Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 Yeah the support did sound very good, even better than last year when we sold more tickets. I heard WYS and Iwan is a Welshman within the first ten minutes of the game.
Simi Posted 5 November 2007 Posted 5 November 2007 Colchester 1-1 LeicesterAttendance - Not sure, about 700 Leicester fans there. Stewarding - Terracing, not many about just a few to the right of the terrace next to home fans. Policing - None. Standing - Good old terracing in the away end, although there is a seating section. Atmosphere - Good from the Leicester end, Colchester just after they scored not much else really, apart from when they banged there poor excuse for a drum, put to shame by our drum! it's not the size that counts! I think your drum was too loud for your singingI agree with most of what you said however, and you created the best away atmosphere since we got promoted IMO the fans in the left hand terrace were very good(T2) but the right hand terrace made no noise(T1) for our standards the atmosphere was utter tench, although we tried to get it going in T3 (to your left) and the barside(to your right) sang quite a bit but the acoustics keep the noise in. attendance 5500 with 3500 choosing to stand!
