simonthefox Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Chambers probably would have been playing there last few games, but we've had no midfield, so he's had to fill in there. Unless you want Stearman in central midfield.....

Doesn't explain why Chambers didn't play ahead of Stearman today though does it....

Yeah, I'd rather see him in the middle of the field. No, wait... that's wrong... I'd rather see him in the middle of a field. Preferably being chased by Christopher Biggins driving a combine harvester - to the Benny Hill theme tune.
Jimmy Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Yeah, I'd rather see him in the middle of the field. No, wait... that's wrong... I'd rather see him in the middle of a field. Preferably being chased by Christopher Biggins driving a combine harvester - to the Benny Hill theme tune. LMAO
johnnycash Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 i'm not saying he (Stearz) should be RWB but i am simply saying i'm not so sure Chambers would be any better, the only person in our squad with any real track record as a wing back is Kaebi as thats the role he plays for his national side and as i'm lead to believe most of his club career.Personally i think we should revert back to 4-4-2 WRONG!! Chambers played Right-Wing Back when the Baggies got promoted to the Premier under Megson. He is a better than average Right-Back at this level, but probably an even better Right-Wing Back. He is one of the best athelte's in the Championship, and would have no probelm covering the ground required to make the position work for him and the team. As for Kaebi. How can you select someone who struggles at Reserve level!! I would rather play Stearman.
