Webbo Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 I can't believe that it was Chambers who was dropped today instead of Stearman. What a joke. Chambers is by far the superior right back and is much better going forward, and Stearman has been woeful for most of this season. The sooner Chambers becomes a fixture at right back/right wing back the better.Stearman can be loaned out for all I care. Stearman was no worst than anybody else today.

It's ****ing obvious he cannot play wing back for us. Chambers has played there many a time, it makes so much more sense to play Chambers there. It's painful seeing these ridiculous decisions being made.
Rocky Dennis Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Quite simply. One of the worst players i personally i have seen pull on city shirt
ASH17LCFC Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Quite simply. One of the worst players i personally i have seen pull on city shirt Agree 100 %
davieG Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Quite simply. One of the worst players i personally i have seen pull on city shirt Agree 100 % As bad as he might be there are plenty worse than him to have played for LCFC.
Milky Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 To be fair to Stearman, he's a centre back. One day he may actually get to play there.
Staf Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Quite simply. One of the worst players i personally i have seen pull on city shirt [/quote/] I agree he is terrible cant believe he has played 100 games for leicetser
ASH17LCFC Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 To be fair to Stearman, he's a centre back. One day he may actually get to play there. And why would him playing centre back improve us ? He is a league 1 player at best and if he did drop to centre back. He would be no better then Matt Heath. Get fookin rid ... Its players like him that make us a crap championship side.
johnnycash Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 I was shocked that Stearman played today instead of Chambers. In fact that decison alone proves that neither Taggs or Burrows are good enough to manage this football club. Chambers is a proven performer as both a right-back and a right-wing back at this level. Watford fans would still want him in their table topping side. If he's good enough for them, he should be more than good enough for a side like ours fighting relegation (again!!) Stearman needs to be loaned out to a league one side to see if he can develop as a Centre-Back. Heis NOT a right-back.
Bert Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 He is a right back. That's were his best performances have been for the club. If some people laid off him, he might just get a bit of confidence back.
Rocky Dennis Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 As bad as he might be there are plenty worse than him to have played for LCFC. Maybe so, but has any player as poor as Stearman played 100 games for us, and continued to be picked for the team this season despite being totally useless?? I doubt it!

Leicester Lass Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Yes, he has been garbage for the most part this season but to say he's one of the worst players ever to play for us is outrageous. Was anyone saying that two season ago? No. Maybe if we could get some stability at the club and throughout the team it wouldn't only do him so good but it would everyone else. People should stop over-reacting.

Has any single player been with us for 4 consecutive seasons of total shite, he's a young lad, probably playing out of position in a poor team who has in the past played well and been man of the match. That doesn't make him a world beater but today he was as poor as most. I thought Mattock was actually worse than.
Milky Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 He's a life long Leicester fan by the way. His hearts in the right place at least. Shame it seems to have gone down hill ability wise.
maddog Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 How is Richard Stearman a professional footballer? he is by far the worst player we have and puts in shit after after shit performances yet for some reason plays and starts almost every match. what the fook is that all about. Get him out the team, he must be laughing, surely he realises he plays awful every game and must be laughing to himself when he finds out he is starting every game. Get Kaebi there, i rekon if we had Kaebi's pace on the wing from the start of this season we would be in the top 10 now. Clemence was also awful, can't blame the strikers when we have no midfield. Kenton was great and was subed, thus ending any chance of Burrows getting the job. Even Weso didn't play well. Awful awful awful. Stearman out Kaebi in.

Had 2 managers already. 17th in the league and looks like we could be fighting to stay up again. A group of players who don't give 2 fooks about wearing the shirt ... So when is it right to start over-reacting ?

He is man enough to go on the piss and buy all his fancy clothes and live the high life though.

I never mentioned the result, where we are in the league etc. I was on about the reaction to Stearman, he doesn't deserve to be singled out so much when every other player on the park was equally bad today.
Jimmy Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Piss poor excuse ... He is man enough to go on the piss and buy all his fancy clothes and live the high life though. oh shut the fook up, why shouldn't he buy nice clothes go go for a beer once in a while, alot of peopl on here use that as an excuse but almost all of you would do exactly the same as him
Webbo Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Awful awful awful. Stearman out Kaebi in. And there is the whole reason for this thread, because Stearman is keeping out the prince of Persia. A player so good that 3 different managers this season won't touch him with a bargepole. No one is saying that Stearman is a world beater but as I said earlier he was no worst than anybody else today and trying to put the blame on him alone is pathetic.
breadandcheese Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Stearman is not a wingback, he doesn't have the attributes to be one. It may seem a similar position to fullback, but it's massively different and arguably more difficult. Add to that he is probably low on confidence and not having a good run of form and it's no surprise the performance. He's playing out of position and it shows.

People should stop over-reacting. Thats your opinion, I have never rated him, personally im not sure how he's come this far in the game, he cannot do the basics, did you see the game today? How did you rate his performance? He didnt get anywhere near his man (again) and failed to add any attacking options.

We wish it was. Might see an improvement in his dire performances.

If the players play well, they can wear their Armani and Calvin Kleins. If the performance doesn't cut the mustard, time for the sackcloth.
