Has any single player been with us for 4 consecutive seasons of total shite, he's a young lad, probably playing out of position in a poor team who has in the past played well and been man of the match. Yes, I did see the game and as I've said in an earlier post he was awful today, as were the rest of the team. If he's not been told to get forward, what do you want him to do?! To me it was pretty clear that him and Mattock hadn't been given too much freedom to play with in the first half.

There was no difference between him and Mattock today but as far as I can see only one player is getting a slating.

NONE because our team doesn't move leaving him with 1 option an ball over the top for DJ to try and run onto, when our midfield start moving and giving him options THEN start critersizing long balls

thats more to do with being out of position which you can't blame him for, thats the fault of the management asking him to play there

when he 1st came back into the team this season he was playing well but since has lost all confidence, we need to go back to 4-4-2 (not just for stearman but so we don't keep getting double teams on both flanks)

Stears had a shocker today, but he's been struggling for form for a while now. He looked bright when he first came in for us, but at the end of that season and the following Premiership interest / the enquiries made about him, it seems as though he got too big for his boots and actually began to believe he was better than he is. He has been distinctly average / quite poor more often than not since then. He has potential yes, but he needs a huge kick up the arse to get him playing again. I'm suprised he has got away with it for this long, if I'm honest.

Stearman's footballing career is definitely not going to be helped by him playing as a right wing back.

It's so obvious he can't play there successfully it's unbelievable. When you have a natural, better wing back in Chambers warming the bench it annoys me so much.

For me, even as a standard right back in a back 4 he still isn't good enough. At the moment I'd say he was League One at best. If we can get rid of him I think it'd be in our own interests to do so unfortunately.

that was 1 game, ONE and he didn't even complete it due to injury, as said befor Right Back and RIGHT WING BACK are different positions with different responcibilities

Kaebi,Djezri,Hellings and Ferraira?I'm having real doubts wether these players actually exist at our club or it was just Milan starting to go senile and "imagining them to be here"!

Stearman's big problem today was trying so hard not to lose his man that he ended up letting them encroach 15 yards towards the box from the flank with him still in front of them. That does look like a confidence thing to me. If he makes the challenge and misses, they're only going to make up as much ground as he was letting them anyway, only the opposition have LESS time to push people up.
