Phube Posted 14 November 2007 Posted 14 November 2007 Whats wrong with switching the cop so the away fans are next to it to create atmosphere. I know its been said before but you hae to say the same points about 1000 times before anyone will listen at leicester. We are good at complicating things and not so good at doing the simple things like playing people in there correct positions on the pitch ARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!! Liverpool, ManU, plus many other prove you don't need your 'Kop' near the Away supporters.. you just need all your 'singers' in one place!!!! And when the L1-ers split off to chav it up near the opposions fans (to abuse the children... probably). It takes many of the loudest singers away from the 'Kop'. It's just sooo simple.... (like L1ers... )

(like L1ers... ) When we were in the Premiership and had big crowds, I could understand the appeal of sitting/standing in L1. It'd usually be close enough to away fans for inhabitants to indulge in some "banter". But in the lower leagues, where the away fans are often 30 yards away (as on Saturday) L1 just looks an embarassment. I doubt even the Burnley fans could hear them, let alone the Kop!
ASH17LCFC Posted 14 November 2007 Posted 14 November 2007 Makes me always laugh, how the L1ers claim they are sooooooooo loud. I sit in the middle of the Kop and i haven't heard them once ... Well apart from the imfamous drum.

ASH17LCFC Posted 14 November 2007 Posted 14 November 2007 i hardly ever hear L1, i think the acoustics at the walkers are terrible Yeah true, why i like the old kinda grounds with the low roof. Like highfield road ... The away end there was loud as fook. The dear old Kop at Filbert St was always loud aswell.
Ultra Posted 16 November 2007 Posted 16 November 2007 i hardly ever hear L1, i think the acoustics at the walkers are terrible Then how come we in the Kop can hear the away fans perfectly well, and not hear L1 which is nearer to us?
Unabomber Posted 16 November 2007 Posted 16 November 2007 Then how come we in the Kop can hear the away fans perfectly well, and not hear L1 which is nearer to us? Because the away fans are louder?
David O'Leary Posted 16 November 2007 Posted 16 November 2007 Kaebi for manager, come on someone. Kaebi for manager :scarf:
Jimmy Posted 16 November 2007 Posted 16 November 2007 Then how come we in the Kop can hear the away fans perfectly well, and not hear L1 which is nearer to us? speak for yourself, i hardly hear the away fans either, i hear noise not what they are singing
