and theres only half a week for people to buy tickets. if we cant sell out the 1st game what hope is there for the rest of the season.

where have you heard this from I heard there were only 1,500 left

28,000 to LCFC, 3,000 to WHUFC leaves roughly about 1,000 for general sale.

I would imagine the West Stand corporate will be almost empty.

I think 28k to 30k will be considered good for this division this year as the cost of individual tickets is outrageous for this level of football. Having got 15ks worth of ST I suspect they are not too bothered beyond 30k.

the radio mentioned 4000 left at dinnertime , apparently that was a club statement

28k is good, I don't know why some are disappointed with that - As Davieg said, individual match ticket prices are ridiculous....

I don't think it's bad when you consider the attendance for the first game against Watford two years back. If we average 28,000 this season I will be happy. It just annoys me how we sell 21,000 ST's for the Prem and 15,000 for the Fizzy. There are some city 'fans' out there who need to have a look at themselves

Fikkle fans. We don't need supporters like them only see us through the good times not the bad.

In the Premier some people by ST knowing that they can't attend every game (sometimes only 50%) but it's the only way to guarantee a ticket when they need one and so are paying over the odds across the season as whole.

When it comes to this league they take the view that they'll take their chances of getting a ticket as we are less likely to sell out. I know 2 people who fall into that category.

A few?

Loads at work fall into that category!

Either way, the club gets its money. Shame they'd have got more if people bought match tickets as and when, rather than getting a ST only to turn up if they feel like it!

I was fortunate enought to be able to get myself a season ticket but a few of my mates weren't.

A close friend of mine was made reduntant not long ago at the same time his wife was giving birth to thier second child and IF the season tickets would of been at a Championship price maybe he would of been able to get one but he just can't afford it.

Family's that go can end up forking out up to £1000 for season tickets and year after year thats a lot of money espically when the club are over pricing. A lot of people would have pushed the boat out last seaosn to get a season ticket like Me, my dad and brother did last season. I'm not saying 6000 people can't aford to renew but it's unfair to say they have to have a look at themselves and all that.

Hi Lisa, It's not a case of going when they feel like it, they have jobs that prevent them going, especially when fewer and fewer games are on at the traditional 3.00pm saturday slot.

True, but for every one of those, there are several who just want the tickets for the big games.

My hubby regularly misses games through work, but at least he feels bad about it, and someone else benefits from his misfortune!

The lads at work missed a number of games through choice last season.

This season they're picking and choosing. TBH, they don't give a stuff about the club!
