We get 20K through the turnstiles every week because we have supporters passionate about football, who have experienced the glorious highs and the damning lows through sometimes turbulent times at this club. Event hough the team is shit (mainly) at the minute (and through no fault of Ollie's), and despite the fact that we have the best rugby club in Europe round the corner, the City still has a loyal and dedicated fan base that will support them all the way and not bugger off when they're poor.

I've nothing against Plymouth, but the club has no kind of financial clout, and have shown nothing special this season. As Derby have proved this year, and I believe it will be the case for years to come, the team that attains promotion via the play-offs will ultimately struggle desperately in the Premiership. Watford, West Brom and Wolves seem to be the strongest contenders for the automatic spots this season. Even if they do get promoted, the club is unnatractive, has no kind of heritage, and any kind of quality signings will be put off by this. Players come to the Premiership to play on a big stage in front of massive gates. Home Park provides neither a big stage nor massive gates.
