Simi Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 The FA are to designate six fixtures in the next round of the FA Cup as "Kids for a Quid" and will financially compensate clubs for any loss. From Standupsitdown
Jack Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Cool. Bet it's the all Premiership ties though I woulda thought it would of been more of the lower league ties to attract more intrest. There will be loads of fans at the prem teams games just because some of the teams they are playing might not have the chance to play them again.
Joe. Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Cool. Bet it's the all Premiership ties though Nah I think Jack's right. The Premiership games don't need any more interest, it's the lower leagues that do.
SamL Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Good gesture but I wonder how they will decide which matches. Bit unfair on those teams that miss out. It will either be lower league teams or premiership teams Ah well, I doubt the prices for the Southampton game will be that high anyway. They're not usually that high
Sods Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 To be honest its games like Leicester V Southampton that need more spectators coming in as it is already a championship fixture. Teams lower down in the order will have tickets snapped up as it is there big day. My opinion anyway.
Staf Posted 4 December 2007 Posted 4 December 2007 It should be leicester v southampton for a quid at least we may take more than 500 fans for this game
