Bryn Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Fulop 5 - Should have come off his line for the first goal, Folan took so many touches and he should have swept the ball off his toes. Made up for this with a good penalty save, but then was terribly slow to react and stood there and allowed Campbell to bang one in despite being on his feet. Kicking was ineffective. Was no better than the rest today. N'Gotty 4 - Sloppy passing, no pace. Some decent tackling but Hull's threat really did come from their left flank. Poor. So it was him that fooked up for the penno? Dear me. Mattock 5.5 - Full of effort but too often runs down the left flank were unnoticed. Good enough in the air and strong in the tackle but showed that he can be skinned. Better than N'Gotty but still nothing special. McAuley 4.5 - Poor poor poor. Bettered in the air by Folan, poor distribution, kept making mistakes. Apparently wasn't at fault for the penalty but was turned inside out, like Barber said, for their first goal. Kisnorbo 5 - Better than McAuley, but Folan was able to break through past him several times. Kept Windass fairly quiet though. Sloppy passing at times but the best distribution out of all the defenders that played. Kaebi 5 - The gameplan didn't suit him, I'll be fair on that one, but I'm afraid ladies and gentleman that Thracian was right all along; this kid isn't going to make it in English football. Far too lightweight, muscled off the ball, and ran into a player each time he tried to go forward. I actually think he'd be better at rightback, his tackling was good, but then his physicality would be even more of a hindrance. Disappointing. Even more disappointing that he was so often the target of the long ball. Sheehan 5 - Ineffectual. Not bad as such, but just had no effect on the game at all. Tackling looked iffy at times, got himself a booking in about 15 seconds. Clemence 5 - Oh so sloppy, where's the class? Gave the ball away numerous times, and his passing was hit and miss. All those saying how he'd be better sat in front of the back four; that's exactly where he played. But, was neither a holding player, nor a creative player. Just ran around really, tackling was alright. King 5.5 - Used the ball better than Clemence but wasn't really in the game. Hume 6 - Full of running, surely had a knock to be taken off because he looked good on the wing, chasing the ball down and winning it and looking moderately dangerous. Up front, was game but like the rest of our team, blunt. Fryatt 5 - Too slow, sorry Matty. Wasn't lazy, but just too easily subdued because he has no pace with which to pose problems. Subs Cort 5 - Was winning the ball in the air to be fair but we didn't bother to use him. As such, he ended up being the support striker, which of course he cannot do. So, was fairly redundant. John 5.5 - Did alright, looked quite dangerous, won the ball in the air a bit and had one shot... but Leicester were far too poor today for any striker to look good. Stearman 2 - Oh fook me what a useless ****. I usually try to be rational and look for positives but he looks bereft of both confidence and, sadly, skill. Was putting himself into touch, wasn't good in the tackle, was useless going forward, bumbled at the back, like I say I think he was involved in the penalty. Passing was woeful. Whenever I've seen him play I've always thought "not as bad as everyone says" but today, he was the anti-Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, managing to even further hand the game to Hull in about 13 minutes off the bench. Penalty wasn't his fault as such but he was in and around there when it happened. Ollie 5 - Wtf @ your substitutions, at your gameplan. We played long ball to small men and then brought big men on with noone capable of giving them the ball. Clearly has no idea how to get a win out of this team, which may or may not be his fault. Has some serious work to do, and needs to get some decent players in. Highlight of the game - "Who's the slapper in the white" etc. to a female Hull supporter who was giving it some. What a shit game it was, we were God awful. We should be relegation favourites at this minute. To sum up - Outclassed by Hull City. You know you have problems when that happens.
Bryn Posted 15 December 2007 Author Posted 15 December 2007 Just heard the commentary saying it was N'Gotty that dicked about in the area for the penno, changing my ratings now.
Vo Rogue Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Just heard the commentary saying it was N'Gotty that dicked about in the area for the penno, changing my ratings now. Just for future ratings N'Gotty is the older guy with dark skin and Stearman is the tall thin guy with white skin. They both wear a Leicester shirt but apart from that a bit hard to get them mixed up.
Zingari Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Players 0Ollie 0 Crowd 0 you don't mean ollie has to start taking any responsibility i thought received wisdom dictated we don't judge him until about april of 2008

Was hard to see who did what.
Hullfox Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 you don't mean ollie has to start taking any responsibility i thought received wisdom dictated we don't judge him until about april of 2008 I'm not saying that the shit we are in is his fault by any stretch of the imagination. He had a bad day at work today and he needs to learn something from it. He should know the teams in this division and playing a seven stone kid in midfield isn't a good decision against a physical side like Hull. He can only work with what he's got but I think he fielded the wrong 11. (Hindsight is indeed a wonderful thing) If we play like that next season with his team, the blame will lie fairly and squarely at his door.
Nath Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 None of them deserve a rating above 5. Stearman doesn't deserve a rating at all. He was only on for 15 minutes, and still managed to be shit.
stez Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Players 0Ollie 0 Crowd 0 charming! the bloke next to me was a nightmare, kept swearing down my ear hole! surely though, the 'who's the slapper in the white' chant deserves a score of 1.5? with you on the other scores mind.
Tevez Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Didn't even turn up did they? Fooking shocking, don't know why I spend £40 for a good hiding from an average championship team. If any of the players are reading this comment, time to stop hiding. Because your shite, time to get a whole new squad in 'cos i'm sick of the current flops that we've got. Not even League One standard.
Simi Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 Dear oh dear. Fulop - 6 N Gotty - 4 Kisnorbo - 2 McAuley - 2 Mattock - 3 Kaebi - 5 Clemence - 5 King - 4 Sheehan - 3 Hume - 4 Fryatt - 4 Subs. John - 5 Cort - 5 Stearman - 3
syston_fox Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 That performance by Stearman was the worst Ive seen from ANY footballer - and that includes the likes of Ade Akinbiyi and Junior Lewis. As for Kaebi - you can see glimpses of why he is thought of as such a talent but sadly he's just not cut out for the english game. He gets the ball and BANG, he's knocked off straight away. I think it doesnt help with the way we play as not once did we give him the chance to get the ball and run at defenders. One nice little move with Hume and Fryatt nearly resulted in him being put clean through but he's not the answer we're hoping for.
Tommeh Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 "Who's the slapper in the white" - 9 - Got it going well and got a response from her "do you take it up the arse" - 7 - not the loudest but she responded with a few v's and her bf appeared to hide. "how much on a satdee night" - 8 - loud again, no respose from her though "2 quid on a satdee night" 8 - Seems fair value to me "Cheerio" - 8 - she'd had enough seen her beloved hull beat a pathetic Leicester, so she and her embarrased partner left early, a fitting fairwell in my opinion

Simi Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 "she wern't very good" - 7 - would have been good if it had really got going but gains marks for the comedy value I started that. A fair and honest assessment from Tommeh. The timing of the chant was perfect. Quick and punchy.
Nath Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 "Get your tits out for the lads" - 1. She didn't do it.
syston_fox Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 I started that. A fair and honest assessment from Tommeh. The timing of the chant was perfect. Quick and punchy. Shame that that was the only time any chants really got going though. Hard to keep singing when you're dozing off watching the action on the pitch though!
