Collymore Posted 9 March 2005 Posted 9 March 2005 Gilbert Well yes we are from Leicester, the second ‘richest’ city in Europe after Hamburg and we are playing Burnley, another town of distinction in Europe. What the heck, we’re all in Europe!!!! This is then a European fixture that just happens to be played between two English teams. I think relagation would send him over the edge

I do agree when he says "We have too many ‘approach’ players and not enough ‘finishers’ in fact no ‘finishers’.".
Louise Posted 11 March 2005 Posted 11 March 2005 Well apparently We were far superior to Charlton and we beat them too but that was thanks to a touch of class from James Scowcroft who has now left us. from his latest preview.

Anish Posted 11 March 2005 Posted 11 March 2005 For anyone that couldn't be bothered to read the link, here is an extract of the Blackburn - Leicester game: The world’s gone mad. Education has gone to the dogs, dinner ladies can’t cook. The Health Service is in turmoil, you take your life into your hands just going in to a hospital. The streets of our cities are ruled by anarchy, especially Nottingham once a nice place to be, now it’s like ‘Dodge City’ where gun crime is rife. Our roads are grid locked. Terrorists wander amongst us at will. Politicians lie to us – well all right nothing new there I suppose. Hard drugs are freely available and our children are ‘brought up’ by minders, while the family crumbles. It’s all wrong.
Nationwider Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 Gilbert's thoughts on today... I feel a bit better after reading this.
