Katy Posted 18 October 2005 Author Posted 18 October 2005 i don't like the kaiser chiefs but i've just heard The Modern Way on the radio and i was like yea this is The Smiths.... swear its them Bloody hell Benji I quite liked them earlier in the year, but they are so overplayed and I am sick of them now. Seconded and I dont mind admitting it.

Shall i tell you why i don't like Libertines etc. Because they are boring. The songs don't get me excited in any way. My mate is a fan of The Strokes and so i've heard many songs. RUBBISH! I'd normally respect your opinion, however it still makes no sense to me. Call me ignorant if you want, I can't fathom this. Listen to 'Don't look back into the sun' I don't know how it can be considered as boring, especially when you like Fat bastard Ricky Wilson rolling round the stage just going 'OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH' - he doesn't even have a good or original voice (like Julian Casablancas has) Chiefs are inferior to Libertines: -Technically...lack of guitar solos, soaring vocal duets, no variety in the songs, poor keyboard player. -Lyrically...Chiefs are shallow, lots of repetition and obviously the OH's,any music loving person should understand is filler for not being able to think of anything to say. You might like this rubbish, but all I'm saying is that they're shit compared to Libertines. They are in the same Genre but it's like saying Will Smith is better than Tupac. I'm having a babbling Alan Partridge style breakdown here!

Picking up some suits!! from the dry cleaners!!! WOOOWW ROCK AND ROOOOOLLLL!!! IF you dont believe me then fine, you may also like to know by way of provenance that my office is in the Josephs Well Complex in Leeds, which sits above the Josephs well pub, noted gig venue and previous employ of Simon until April last year... may well have been visiting... God I am ace me... I know everyone ... NOT! True story though, it happened less than an hour ago!
