Cobbo Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 Text speak is annoying, but what I find equally annoying is people trying to mock people using text speak by using it themselves It's so very very old and unoriginal now Just tell them to type proper words that actually exist rather than writing a load of twattish stuff yourself Why am I ranting? I have no idea. Rant over

FoxInTheSnow Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 There much better live than on record. They do have some good songs certainly but its all a bit samey and they have one way of building a song up. Simply all go OOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!. So yeh, seen them thrice, enjoy them thrice, album is ok but there is a lot better stuff out there. Oh and dont compare them to Morrissey..Thats mental

FoxInTheSnow Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 Sorry, i meant lyrically. They rip off blur musically. Ha. Mozza was a true one off genius. I like the Kaisers, honest i do and the lyrics are interesting but they aren't amazing.

Ps Morrissey can be compared to no one!
Matt Posted 9 May 2005 Posted 9 May 2005 Not too hot on this to be honest with you. Their ONLY appeal seems to be their catchyness. 92344 Nah, their use of the English Language is second to none (with the exception of the great Morrissey) 92357 There much better live than on record. Nationwider Posted 10 May 2005 Posted 10 May 2005 Got it last night. It is a pip and a dandy, and I'll find it hard to prize off my gramophone for the rest of the month.
TrickyTrev Posted 11 May 2005 Posted 11 May 2005 I think the album is crap. 106748 Me too.
Benji Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 i don't like the kaiser chiefs but i've just heard The Modern Way on the radio and i was like yea this is The Smiths.... swear its them
Libertine Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 I quite liked them earlier in the year, but they are so overplayed and I am sick of them now.
Gené and Tonic Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 i like them, think the album is good ditto
filbertway Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 I didnt really like it at firsat but its really grown on me, i think its great , i loe time honoured tradition
Phil Posted 16 October 2005 Posted 16 October 2005 I loved them at first but I try not to listen to the radio because there begining to overplay all the songs on there. if ya like them look out for Parva - 22 its the album they released but with a different bass played before they were famous well worth a listen.
