Suffolk_fox Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 I have been watching this guy since he was at Norwich in the Premiership. His saves-to-shots ratio was the best in the league (Its just that the Norwich defence let the opposition have an awful lot of shots!) I would love to see him represent England, and his record against penalties is pretty good too (We might need that one day, you never know)
WetFlannel Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 I think hes an ok goalkeeper, but I feel James is the best we currently have as he has been exceptional at Portsmouth. In terms of a future prospect, I think Carson is the best choice. Carson had a nightmare start and its going to take a lot to prove he can handle the burden again, but I knew it wasnt the right game to put him in. With all the pressure surrounding the croatia match, it was unfair to put him in, and i think he should've gone with an experienced goalie. Green is an allright goalkeeper, but I personally dont rate him as high as Robinson, James and Carson
Trumpet Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 My question is, why do goalies have boring names? Walker, Robinson, Carson, Green, James...

Joe. Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 I agree. I definitely think he deserves a start in the next friendly if he keeps this form up.
Tommy G Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 James is the best in the Prem. Green is good but just can't take a man with a beard seriously....
Joe. Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 James is the best in the Prem. Green is good but just can't take a man with a beard seriously.... James has had enough crazy barnets in the last few years to not be taken seriously
Tommy G Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 James has had enough crazy barnets in the last few years to not be taken seriously He can pull it off though my friend. david James is P.I.M.P

lildave3 Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Green still makes costly decisions when he comes out for crosses that he has no chance of getting. Carson for me.
Jack Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Definitley give Green a chance. I really rate him.
Fox You Forest Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 James is the best in the Prem. Green is good but just can't take a man with a beard seriously.... How very dare you
Jack Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 My question is, why do goalies have boring names?Walker, Robinson, Carson, Green, James... What would you like them to be called then ?
Trumpet Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 What would you like them to be called then ? Lloyd Knickerbacker has a ring to it... Englands, number one!
WetFlannel Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Foster when he's back. I don't rate Foster myself
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 James is the best in the Prem. Green is good but just can't take a man with a beard seriously....
lildave3 Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 I don't rate Foster myself What's not to rate? He's already a contender, a good goalkeeper, and he's still young.
Sparky Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Foster when he's back. thats where im hanging my hopes also
Darkzzz_ Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 I really do like robert green...I think he is a excellent shot stopper!! Not sure about crosses tho... he can flap a bit sometimes... I defo think he is better than robbo... i really do not rate robbo at all... James is currently the best we have IMO

syston_fox Posted 1 January 2008 Posted 1 January 2008 What about Almunia? He becomes elligible for England in a couple of months
