Not really sure how Hayles would get in ahead of Fryatt, Howard and Campbell. Howard will play and I just can't see Holloway dropping both Fryatt and Hume.

well right now he would get in ahead of Dj because he is injured ( ) and as for fryatt and hume... well, he is a different sort of striker altogether.. more the target man type than the tricky dicky that the other two are.....

that just leaves Howard so my guess is he is probably cover for howard or the sort we can bring on for last 20 mins to cause a biot of mayhem and grab a win/point...

Ouch, didn't realise his recent record was so poor

Well done you guys a good signing, I think you should look more at the spirit and enthusiasm he brings to a team than his goal scoring record.

He has been an excellent signing for us, Either start with him and sub him in the second half or bring him on to change the pattern of the game. PS Babylon I am not bitter or twisted and log on to any site that involves Argyle transfer activity, and the first match I saw at Filbert Street was in 1961 and I have always rather liked Leicester. You are welcome to Ollie as now we can go back to being Plymouth Argyle instead of "Ian Holloways Plymouth"!

I must admit I liked Lord Barrington of Hayles and for a thirty five year old his commitment and proffesionalism can and should never be doubted, I think he will bring a bit of tenacity to your team, which if you are honest you need up front and will always chase every ball and half chance.

He will also get booked quite alot for dissent and challenge every decision the ref makes but he will also give and expect one hundred percent out of the players around him, I for one will clap and cheer for the old war horse in Feb and back down here next season.(soz meant to say the season after when you join us in the Premiership)

P.S I also like being just Plymouth Argyle and not Ollies Plymouth

18 month contract for Bazza apparently.

Hayles made 65 appearances in his time at Home Park, five as a substitute and scored 16 goals.

Finished top goalscorer last season with 14 goals.
