Oli Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 I admit i didnt. And i think if he dont get us promoted this season everyone else will turn against him. He didnt do anything good last season so we had a reason to want him out. But this season he has signed decent players and i just hope he gets them to perfom and work hard for this club.
Pele Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 Adams I said hes a good manager when we wernt doing well last season and you said he aint but he is gave us even half a chance last season when we had more and less no chance i dont want to fall out with you Were are mates when we aint on the forum you dont have to get personal
Guest Daniel Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 The time i turned against him was last summer, when i feel he did everything wrong. Signing old has beens o try and keep us up wasnt good enough i dont think, because if we'd of stayed up it would of been the same foillowing season, and we wouldnt of ever built a young strong team. I thought when we got relegated he needed to get young players in, hes dont that kind of with Williams, Connolly, Gudjohnsen etc. There younger than 30 and in my eyes that what we need, if we could get them type of players this yea, why couldnt we last year because i feel now that this squad is alot tronger than last seasons and would keep us in the Premieship. I will be supporting them all this season and pleased with most of the signings, except Blake, Pressman and Wilcox who i feel are shit.
Oli Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 Don't worry mate i aint getting personal. That was my opinion of him last season and i had something to back my opinion up with, he signed crap with 3 or 4 decent players.
Pele Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 I think Pressman aint bad as a coach not second goalkeeper
Oli Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 He may be a good coach but why sign him as a second keeper? I would much rather have Conrad Logan.
filbertway Posted 4 August 2004 Author Posted 4 August 2004 From what i have seen of logan on the training pitch, he doesn't look to good, he needs another few years to mature and improve i think. Back up:, i attended a few training session with a freind and had that opinion.
filbertway Posted 4 August 2004 Author Posted 4 August 2004 Yeh i think one of the east bengal players are still trying to get round him and stick it in the net.
dhermon Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 pressman is ok as number two as long as his wages are very low and he could be as good if not better coach than flowers or maybe worse but only time will tell with this one and you do need solid back up just in case it would not be fair to a young kid if he came in and had a real bad game it could shatter him lets face it pressman knows the game just cant play it no more so he will be good for the young blokes who knows M.A might give his spot to a young outfield player at times this season as he dont mind only taking one keeper in to a game and he has said that youth WILL get a chance this season as for last season his bad signing far out weighted the good yes his hands were tied but he could have done better with what he had he said he wanted to be jugded on HIS team well now he has it so lets see what he can really do i also think the players should shoulder alot of the blame for last season they let M.A and us all down but now there gone well most and its a new season lets look forward we cant change the past love him or hate him we must get behind our team as one!! hmm why do i feel the urge to sing the theme song from rodger ramjet.
gagandeep Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 before micky signed connoly, gudjohnson, makin, keown i was begining to doubt micky. but now he is winning me over again. i am now confident of the new season. i've just read this thread, and some of the views and arguements are pointless.
Muz Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 Who was that Clarke id never heard of him till Sunday is he on trial?
Ash Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 I dont want to see Scowcroft go becuase i feel he is one of our better players but if the offer is higher than 400k i think we would have to accept !
gagandeep Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 Who was that Clarke id never heard of him till Sunday is he on trial? he's a 20 year old keeper signed on a non-contract basis. he was on trial but he has now signed. he looked okay, his kicking was impressive.
Oli Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 What the one what came on for walker ?? Yes Pele taht one. He nearly got to the peno though.
Mark Posted 4 August 2004 Posted 4 August 2004 Come on Micky accept it! This is great news, i liked Norwich and if they pull this off i'll like them even more.
aussie-fox Posted 5 August 2004 Posted 5 August 2004 As Vestan Pance said, we could be facing a loss on Scowcroft if an offer is accepted by Norwich for a cetain amount. If Norwich did offer a substantial amount which meant we could actually make some money on him, then the club should snap their hands off. His wages are far too high, and I'm sure the extra money receieved from the transfer could bring in a couple of other players. Although, I don't see Norwich doing this. Add to this, Micky's firm statement on the phone in that he decides who leaves the club from now on. He also made a bit of a dig in the direction of Norwich and Palace by saying he won't allow playrs in his plans to go to small Premiership clubs. Pele - You say Scowcroft is useless, but if he scores 10 goals next season like he did the season before in this division, are you going to call him useless again? Some of your posts are becoming very irritating to read because you seem to post for the sake of it, and any points you do make are not backed up. They're just statements which add nothing to a thread. I have already warned you about this style of posting, if it continues, appropriate action will be taken. Are you webbo in disguise

Guest Daniel Posted 5 August 2004 Posted 5 August 2004 I certainly wont sleep through that, if it was a Forest match i might slep through it.
