Floating Fox Posted 23 May 2008 Posted 23 May 2008 He's talking about the game, not real life Ohhhhhhhhh
Father Ted Posted 23 May 2008 Posted 23 May 2008 Surely it will help Lewis Hamilton if Massa & Raikkonen catch TB I'm still playing Formula 1 97 Jean Alesi and Gerhaud Berger. Quality.
Brainy Posted 23 May 2008 Author Posted 23 May 2008 That Psygnosis owl use to scare me I was about 7 though
isaidno Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 Amazing lap by Massa, I really expected Mclaren to be on pole
lildave3 Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 Massa is on fire at the minute! Coulthard had a hefty meeting with the wall too.
isaidno Posted 24 May 2008 Posted 24 May 2008 Everytime rain has been predicted this season it hasn't happened
Gené and Tonic Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 It's currently raining in Monaco http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/busi...001?from=search
Brainy Posted 25 May 2008 Author Posted 25 May 2008 Wouldnt really have wanted rain if Hamilton was on pole. I just hope he doesnt do something stupid in the first corner. Surely the Ferrari's arent 3 stopping though, especially with the threat of crashes and then safety cars. It would ruin their strategy.
Floating Fox Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Surely the Ferrari's arent 3 stopping though, especially with the threat of crashes and then safety cars. It would ruin their strategy. Short first stint.
Suffolk_fox Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Watching at the mo - what is the timer at the top of the screen for??? Is it because the safety car has been out and it is now on a timed basis?
The Stig Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Watching at the mo - what is the timer at the top of the screen for???Is it because the safety car has been out and it is now on a timed basis? No. The maxinmum a race can go on for is two hours, if they don't feel they'll be able to finish the 78 laps in time they switch to the timer. Great race today, wonderful drive from lewis, and really unlucky Adrian Sutil also.
Father Ted Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Great race from Hamilton Very unlucky on Sutil and another good race from Kubica.
Brainy Posted 25 May 2008 Author Posted 25 May 2008 Good race, solid drives from Hamilton, Kubica and Massa. Sutil Raikkonen Thanks for the title lead anyway
billabob Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Great race from Hamilton Very unlucky on Sutil and another good race from Kubica. Just a little bit, was so upset about it
lildave3 Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Looking forward to watching the highlights later, forgot to record it My old man said it was a cracking race.
Floating Fox Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Just a little bit, was so upset about it Could imagine. Sutil looked like he was going to cry. You been to any races yet?
Ultra Posted 25 May 2008 Posted 25 May 2008 Could imagine. Sutil looked like he was going to cry. You been to any races yet? From TV footage, he looked like he was in tears. Not surprising - he was top driver today and looked sure of a decent finish before being bumped (accidentally) by Raikkonen. Good win by Hamilton though.

Would like to see him in a good car tbh. Looks like he can do a better job than someone like Piquet Jnr (ok he's a rookie, but he's been naff!)
isaidno Posted 26 May 2008 Posted 26 May 2008 What a drive by Hamilton. Ok , he hit the barrier but so did Raikkonen & Alonso and to turn a 15 second deficit into a 38 second lead is amazing. Absolutlely gutted for Sutil. This race has made me look forward to Montreal even more, can't wait now.
isaidno Posted 30 May 2008 Posted 30 May 2008 I'm in Montreal .The weather is hot here but turning wet next week. It could be another wet race.
isaidno Posted 2 June 2008 Posted 2 June 2008 All the shops on the main street have f1 displays in their window's. It's gonna be 31c for saturday, haven't seen the forecast for raceday
The Stig Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 All the shops on the main street have f1 displays in their window's. It's gonna be 31c for saturday, haven't seen the forecast for raceday Have fun, enjoy the race. Canada is normally a good one. As this is the F1 thread, I thought I should pst my opinion on the Mosely scandal in here as well. The fact that Mosely has kept his job is terrible. For me, it is not improtant what he gets up to in his private life, unless sed private life effects his professional life. He is the president of the governing body of one of the biggest sports in the world, he therefore needs to be on his best behaviour 24 hours a day 7 days a week, as any negative behaviour could have negative effects on the sport. If his private life didn't effect his job, then let him get up to what he likes. But there can be no doubting, that these findings have effected Formula 1. The only reasons he kept his job, is the due to the F.I.A being consisted of people he appointed. A sad day for Formula 1. Yet more negative publicity.
