Wouldnt really have wanted rain if Hamilton was on pole. I just hope he doesnt do something stupid in the first corner.

Surely the Ferrari's arent 3 stopping though, especially with the threat of crashes and then safety cars. It would ruin their strategy.

Watching at the mo - what is the timer at the top of the screen for???

Is it because the safety car has been out and it is now on a timed basis?

No. The maxinmum a race can go on for is two hours, if they don't feel they'll be able to finish the 78 laps in time they switch to the timer.

Great race today, wonderful drive from lewis, and really unlucky Adrian Sutil also.

Great race from Hamilton

Very unlucky on Sutil and another good race from Kubica.

Just a little bit, was so upset about it

Could imagine.

Sutil looked like he was going to cry.

You been to any races yet?

From TV footage, he looked like he was in tears.

Not surprising - he was top driver today and looked sure of a decent finish before being bumped (accidentally) by Raikkonen.

Good win by Hamilton though.

Would like to see him in a good car tbh.

Looks like he can do a better job than someone like Piquet Jnr (ok he's a rookie, but he's been naff!)

What a drive by Hamilton. Ok , he hit the barrier but so did Raikkonen & Alonso and to turn a 15 second deficit into a 38 second lead is amazing. Absolutlely gutted for Sutil. This race has made me look forward to Montreal even more, can't wait now.

Have fun, enjoy the race. Canada is normally a good one.

As this is the F1 thread, I thought I should pst my opinion on the Mosely scandal in here as well.

The fact that Mosely has kept his job is terrible. For me, it is not improtant what he gets up to in his private life, unless sed private life effects his professional life. He is the president of the governing body of one of the biggest sports in the world, he therefore needs to be on his best behaviour 24 hours a day 7 days a week, as any negative behaviour could have negative effects on the sport.

If his private life didn't effect his job, then let him get up to what he likes. But there can be no doubting, that these findings have effected Formula 1. The only reasons he kept his job, is the due to the F.I.A being consisted of people he appointed.

A sad day for Formula 1. Yet more negative publicity.
