What the **** is Hamilton doing, really showing his inexperience. I really hopes Button shines today, he is long overdue some credit.

I doubt it the way the brits are doing so far.

Coulthard in pits.

OUT SO FAR:

Vettel (Not Bourdais)

I love no traction control :D

It's appeared to be his fault at the start, but the Alonso thing was hardly his fault. Whether Fernando did it on purpose or not, he was slower and on that part of the circuit it would have been very difficult to get out the way.

Want more looked into that Alonso incident, very suspicious and I wouldn't put it past him.

 exactly what I thought.

I dont really expect much from Hamilton with races at Spain and Turkey coming up. Spain because of the racial abuse in testing which I think will affect him, and Turkey has been dominated by Massa the past few years.

Forgot to record :(

What time are highlights on?

There wasn't all that many.

Think you'll find hamilton was at fault; he thinks he's better than he is.................nice to see him coming back down to earth with a bump!!!!!

All the Brits (minus Davidson) seem very arrogant and as though they have a divine right to win (especially Hamilton and Button), both are average drivers, as has been proven with Button and will be this season with Hamilton!!!!

Ahem, please tell me what 'being arrogant' has to do with the incident?

All winners have an arrogance usually...in fact, I can't be bothered to go on. Such a poor comment it's not worth bothering

Yup.

A lot of anti-Hamilton fans tend to get 'arrogance' and 'determination to win races' mixed up.

A lot of anti-Hamilton fans tend to get 'arrogance' and 'determination to win races' mixed up.

Arrogance:

  • an attitude of superiority manifested in an overbearing manner or in presumptuous claims or assumptions
  • offensive display of superiority or self-importance; overbearing pride

Hamilton BELIEVES (as does BUTTON) that he has a DIVINE right to win each race; therefore coming across as arrogant!!!

Also I'm not anti-hamilton, as such, BUT he isn't as good as everyone who has jumped on his bandwagon thinks he is.

1) Unless he starts from the first or second row, HE STRUGGLES (look at the past two races)

2) This season, compared to last, he has been considerably poor; whether you jump on bandwagon

a) because the other drivers no more about him (surely after a few races last season they would have - and why don't other NEW drivers do as well???)

b) due to the changes in the technology on the car (why haven't other drivers e.g. Massa, Kubica, Kovi' been less impressive?)

either way, you can't deny that so far, he has been poor!

YET he still believes he SHOULD win; look at his attitude on Sunday!

Ok, I'll tackle this.

You are stating your opinion as fact. "Hamilton BELIEVES that he has a DIVINE right to win each race" I'd like to see some evidence of this.

Neither me or Walkers said we were pro-Hamilton, let alone 'jumping on the bandwagon' - it's just that usually, a winner has that extra something about him, a swagger, arrogance, call it what you will. Christiano Ronaldo has it, Schumacher had it.

In GP2 he came second in a race after starting from the back (admittedly GP2 but even so)

He won the first race this season and is high up in the championship...clearly very poor.

Finally, you use Massa as an example of a driver who has adapted to the rule changes. Whilst I am actually a Massa fan, I think it is safe to say he had infact not adapted to them for the first 2 races as two DNF's show.

I think it did for Massa on the first corner of the first race didnt it ? lol

The future of the Super Aguri Formula One team is in doubt again after investors pulled out of a takeover.

Britain's Magma Group had been expected to complete the buyout at the end of last month, but they have now told the Japanese team the deal is off. It is believed Magma's financial backers, Dubai International Capital, are having second thoughts.

Super Aguri are seeking new investors but warned they may be forced out of the Spanish Grand Prix on 27 April.

A statement by the team said: "Super Aguri confirms that it has been informed by Magma Group, the potential purchasers of the team, that its investors no longer wish to fund the intended acquisition.

"It is with deep regret that [team owner] Aguri Suzuki is now forced to consider the future of the team, however negotiations with other parties continue."

A team spokesperson confirmed they may not have financial backing in place to compete in Barcelona and the team have already skipped testing at the Circuit de Catalunya this week.

The Oxfordshire-based team raced in the opening three Grands Prix after securing last-minute backing through the automotive industry consultancy and innovation group Magma.

But DIC, who were embroiled in a potential takeover of Liverpool Football Club, are now reconsidering their level of investment.

BBC Radio 5 Live's Formula One commentator David Croft explained the Dubai investors may just be negotiating their position.

"It could be that DIC are stalling to lower the price-tag for a buyout, which is worth around £50m," he said.

"The majority of that money goes to Honda F1 who have been building and supplying the cars for Super Aguri.

"If Honda can be persuaded to lower the price then maybe a deal can be resurrected but the team need to find a solution fast."

Super Aguri, who are bottom of the constructor standings, have been using Honda engines and have also been supported by the Japanese manufacturers.

However, under new regulations which come into force in 2010, teams will no longer be able to make custom cars for other outfits.

And Honda are also determined to focus on their own development programme next season.

That means Super Aguri, who have Britain's Anthony Davidson in their team, now need to find a new investor or ask Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone for assistance
