SamL Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Barnsley have put defender Paul Reid, goalkeeper Nick Colgan and midfielder Andy Johnson on the transfer list.Reid, 25, and Republic of Ireland international Colgan, 34, were members of the side which won promotion from League One in 2006. But neither they, nor Johnson, 33, a free transfer signing last summer, have had regular places this season. Barnsley have also turned down a bid from S****horpe United for midfielder Grant McCann, 26. The Northern Ireland international was signed from Cheltenham Town 12 months ago for a fee of £100,000 following a loan spell. "The club have received an offer for midfielder Grant McCann but this was below our valuation of the player," said a statement on the Barnsley website. McCann has started 25 league and cup games this season and made 13 substitute appearances, scoring three goals - including two free-kicks in the same game against Southampton. Seems to be surplus at yet another club. Thats two clubs in a row where he has failed to set the place alight.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Seems to be surplus at yet another club. Thats two clubs in a row where he has failed to set the place alight. He keeps on leaving his hair straighteners on overnight and still nothing. He might succeed at Barnet.
Staf Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Surely will go to a league 1 team now Port Vale is his standard
