Just thought you all might want to see this, what you make of it is up to you. :blink:

It's great what you can do edit wise with wikipedia! BUT! if they were gonna edit it they could have at least spelt TRIAL right..

EDIT: It has now gone back to it's original, but for anyone who didn't see it, some one put in the Across Town Move section at the end "On trail with Leicester City Football Club"

Leicester are set to sign Rivaldo in the English Coca Cola Championship during the English January Transfer Window on a 1 and a half season contract for an undisclosed fee but his mum told him not to, as Greece is a lot warmer. However a shock move to Northampton Town maybe on the cards.

After more than two weeks of negotiations, Rivaldo signed on with rival Super League club AEK Athens FC on 29 May 2007, making the acquisition arguably the best in the team's history. Rivaldo finished his Olympiakos career with 43 goals in 81 games played.

At AEK Athens Rivaldo plays under his former FC Barcelona manager Llorenç Serra Ferrer. He began his AEK career with a bang, scoring in his first friendly match. European goals soon followed; a penalty kick against Sevilla FC in AEK's unsuccessful UEFA Champions League qualifier, and a stunning bicycle kick in their UEFA Cup first round thumping of FC Red Bull Salzburg. Rivaldo's first Super League goal with AEK Athens came through a penalty in their 3-0 win against Panionios.

He has tonight signed for leicester City as, at the age of way too old, he has agreed to play in Goal, since Ian Holloway wants both Marton Fulop and Ben Alnwick to play in Midfield. The clincher was the luxury Holiday Inn which he will be staying in for the first 6 months of his contract. Holiday Inn employees have been told to pass keys to him and not throw them in case he falls over clutching his face.

Found this report on Fulop on The Northern Echos web site.

Goalkeeper Marton Fulop was not on last week's unwanted list but the Hungary international could yet be leaving the Stadium of Light within the next fortnight despite only returning from a loan spell at Leicester two weeks ago.

Fulop made 27 appearances during a successful four-and-ahalf- month spell at the Walkers Stadium and, despite Keane insisting he was back in Sunderland's first-team picture when he recalled him at the start of the month, the 24-year-old is ready to go back out on loan if a Championship club approaches him before the end of the transfer window.

"I was getting games at Leicester and it was nice to play football,"

said Fulop, whose last Sunderland start came at Luton on the final day of last season. "It's a great compliment that the gaffer brought me back, but I still want to play.

"He wants me here to fight for the place and keep Craig (Gordon) on his toes, but if Craig is playing then I am not. We are both the same age and we are both internationals, so one of us is always going to be unhappy and at the present time that is me.

"It's nice that the manager wanted me back, but there is still two weeks to go until the transfer window closes at the end of January. If there is a good club coming in with the right offer to take me on loan, I would consider it. If nothing happens, I have to do my best to get in the team here or prove that I deserve a transfer in the summer.

"I have a contract with Sunderland, though, and I have to accept what they want me to do."

This is going to seem like a joke thread and if I was reading this I would agree. However I have heard First Hand today from an ex city Manager, still in the game, that Fulop is a done deal, a fee has been agreed and Fulop will be back before the end of jan. Keane needs fulop as his number two at present, as His reserve keeper has a back injury.

Also Hollaway has 4.5 Million to spend in the transfer window and 7.5 million in the summer.

The above I believe could quite possibly be true, the next part I am not so sure about, but Rivaldo is apparently coming to the championship with either QPR or Leicester prepared to splash out on wages.

All of this has come first hand, from a very reliable source. You can all give me grief but if any off the above turns out to be true please remeber this thread.
