maddog Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Superb! Just as good if not better than Lakso i thought Bori just saw less of the ball. He whipped in some great crosses, tackled and played a great back heel to Hume i think who set Howard in for the first goal, so really a Bori assist. Excellent 1 touch passing, almost scored, hit a couple of great efforts on target just unlucky to go straight to the keeper. We have got ourselves 2 awesome wingers here and we can sign them permenantly if we want to without anyone stealing them. Fantastic OLLIE fantastic Hungarians. If theres a Lakso appreciation thread there has to be a Bori one. Lakso got himself into great positions in the box, nearly scored after a few minutes and his glancing header from a corner in the 2nd half was excellent. Also Oakley was great, and Hayles. Super Barry Hayles out muscling the defender. Good finish from Howard. Not sure about Alnwick as he didn't have a save to make we batterd them that much. Their only chance was from a Stearman error who is still our weakest link in the team. But this is mainly for Gabor, who was superb and he can't even speak English. Go Gabor Go I am really tempted to go Norwich next week and i dont really go to many league away games at all, only around 4 a season. Thats how good we were, other fans like me may make the trip to Norwich now.
Ozwin Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 I need to make another signature, I was going to but didn't know an ugly right winger who I could compare him with.
WetFlannel Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Not in the same class as Laczko, but I thought he did well for his first match. Shame hes being a bit over shadowed by his Hungarian counterpart, but Laczko had the entertainment factor. Very good from Bori though, looks good.
Leonisco Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Another great find. Not got quite the same flair as Laczko but he's a very effective little winger. We MUST buy these guys in the summer.
lildave3 Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 I need to make another signature, I was going to but didn't know an ugly right winger who I could compare him with. Chadwick, surely.

I thought Bori was just as good a footballer, but Lakso just mesmorised me with some of his skill and getting into great positions. They passed more to Lakso than Bori though, im sure Bori will turn out just as good. Oakley was superb also and Clemence with good players around him played better. It was by far our best performance of the season, even better than cup games. After watching that game, i know we almost certainly wont get promoted, but i feel we have more chance of getting in the play offs than getting relegated now, however near we are to the drop zone
acooling08 Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Brilliant display by both wingers. I think Laczko has better speed and trickery but i think Bori can cross better. Great signings Ollie!

Our midfield is the best part of our team now. We still have Osbourne to come in next week but i cant see him getting into the team now
Joe. Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 I liked Bori a lot. His crossing looked dangerous, and he never looked to try anything fancy and stupid. A good debut for him as well as Zsolt.
Ozwin Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 I'm laughing at how easily things have changed. Even after one game, with so many new players who don't really know each other we have a better midfield than we have done in years.

DB11 Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 He was a bit far back. Whenever Stearman punted the ball up he was nowhere to be seen
Jimmy Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 he played well but was definitely slightly over shadowed by Laczko
lildave3 Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 He was a bit far back.Whenever Stearman punted the ball up he was nowhere to be seen Because believe it or not, he may have wanted it passing to his feet. Madness, I know.
maddog Posted 12 January 2008 Author Posted 12 January 2008 Stearman lofted 4 or 5 awful long balls forward. Then he had the nerve to come and clap the fans at the end of the game and fist pump the win. Im sure he thinks he was the reason Leicester won he thinks hes that good.

Jesus Christ give the lad a break. What a stupid thing to say.

dandannieldanok Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 What a difference a few days makes! Bit different to N'gotty and Chambers! Martin Allen must surely be a little embarassed when he looks back at that summer of recruitment that left us in such a mess. Well done Ollie

Im sure he thinks he was the reason Leicester won he thinks hes that good. sorry but they were good balls had the players ahead actually CHASED them, you can't always play a pin point pass to feet you know, besides his primary job was to defend, seeing as he had Adebola in his pocket the whole game I'd say he did extreamly well

Im sure he thinks he was the reason Leicester won he thinks hes that good. Leicester youngster shows he's thrilled about winning - and effectively gets called an arsehole. Not that I'm surprised. .

I don't like Stearman as a player but I'd never have a go at him for celebrating a win and clapping the fans.
Phlashman Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 I think his biggest problem was communication, lots more went throughh Zsolt as he could communicate well, but Bori couldn't. Given time I think he'll get better on that front. But still a great debut today. Is it wrong that I accidently keep calling him Borat?
