Raj Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Me Mrs is a teacher and they deserve all the ££££ they get innit??? She taughted me how to speak proper english. But seriously, teachers can be ,for some kids, the most influential people in their lives. A good teacher(like my Mrs!!!) can be such a positive influence they can actually have a better effect on the kid than the parents. My Mrs was in a school in Oadby and the majority were fcuking spoilt monsters. Most of us would have lashed at the cvnts. Its just the few good ones that keep teachers motivated knowing that they are having some effect on their lives. Pity they dont get the respect they deserve. Bring back the fcuking cane!!!!
ronnup Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 i teach English in Sheffield in one of the most deprived areas in Britain, and of course it's hard but I also (strangely given the content of tis thread) worked in Insurance for three years and that was hard too. For different reasons. Work's usually hard. It's work innit. I bet teaching's easier than a lot of things cos you get to cotch with all the kids and strap on a few zoots and that. (And learn loads of sick slang). I hate it when teachers bang on about their work and their kids as much as it bores the tits off me listening to most peoples work stories. anyone who talks about themselves that much is a tit anyway. And I actually checked for that www.marketsteetslags.com whatever website. I'm soo dissapointed.
