The Stig Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 I just thought I'd let you know the Palace game is on 5 Live Sports Extra for those who aren't going to the game and don't have Sky. I know it's not the most interesting thread in the world but I felt it my duty to inform.

He might be uncomfortable but he's still there to sit on in emergencies. Besides, if it's a lousy game, there's always the Barberisms to mention and have a bit of fun with.

True, so basically sod 5 Live lets listen to Barber so we can make ourselves laugh with his commentary!

Interesting, I wonder who will commentate, 5 Live and Sports Extra normally have some good people on like Alan Green (although he seems to only do Prem games and 606 unfortunately).

Nationwider Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 So, to summarise the options, 1. Go to match 2. Watch on TV 3. Listen on 5Live Xtra 4. Scratch eyes and ears out with rusty fish hook 5. Listen to Barber's "commentary"
irememberwellerstights Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Lay off Barber. he might be a Derby fan and he might get things wrong from time to time, and he may take the piss, but so what? Personally I find him quite entertaining and will be listening to his commentary tonight in preference to 5 Live.

He can be entertaining yes, but I'd prefer to know whats happening and what city are doing than be entertained.
