I've not really had time to digest the whole album yet because I got distracted by the ridiculously good opener that sounds like M83 having a party.

I rinsed this when I first got it six months ago but don't listen to it anymore. Not sure there are enough clever ideas going on to keep you listening for long. It's pretty fun stuff though and I was in a club in Sheffield when Hustler came on and it sounded fantastic. I defy anyone not to dance to that, particularly just after the 2:30 mark on the album version.

The whole electro thing is massive in London at the minute. That and minimal house/techno. It's taken me awhile to appreciate it as I've always been a bit rooted in my little drum n bass and breakbeat sanctuary but I'm really starting to like the sound now.

This album reminded me a bit of Soulwax (the Nite Versions album) in that you're not going to sit around appreciating the finer subtleties of the music you're just going to dance like an idiot with a stupid smile on your face.

Good fun. And a good listen when you're going for a run which is where I just discovered it!
