Guest Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 I misread the title and thought they were offering a free Barry Hayles
Bert Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 HE'S GOT NO HAIR BUT WE DON'T CARE WALKING IN A HAYLES WONDERLAND.
LeeCovFox Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Good old BArry hayels. Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. Fortunately for you, it is also the funniest.
Staf Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Brilliant signing for the money has played well recently imo and looks like a good signing
Simi Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 You're fooked You're fooked When Barrrryyy Gets your girrlll 'Cos she'll neverrr walkkk agaiin She'll neverrr walk again Copyright Filbertway.
Ozwin Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 I like how he talks. "Y'na mean?" He talks like a right youngster, yet he's one of the oldest in the team.
WetFlannel Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 I bet hes also doing alot of work off the pitch... Great signing.
AyewJoking Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 too much for a 34 year old but if he scores consistantly then you cant argue with it.
Geo V Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 too much for a 34 year old but if he scores consistantly then you cant argue with it. His contribution has already been positive on he field and he apparently is the type of character to gee up those who are showing a lack of confidence. It wouldnt suprise me if he is made player/coach at the seasons end to be honest so all in all its a decent deal.
Alexikokopops Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 too much for a 34 year old but if he scores consistantly then you cant argue with it. Usually I'd say yes, but it's Sir Barry Hayles. I'd say he's worth at least 14 times what we paid.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Usually I'd say yes, but it's Sir Barry Hayles.I'd say he's worth at least 14 times what we paid. Geez i would have said worth 14.5 times what we paid
Nationwider Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 If he keeps up his current scoring rate, he'll have netted about 900 League goals by the time he's 60. For £150k, that's unbeatable value.
WetFlannel Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 He will have 3 bad games in a row and fans will start thinking hes crap again...
