Ian Holloway has been here for a little under 3 months. Yet there are people calling for his head. Ollie wants what we want. This is why he is in the dressing room now, bollocking the players. Because they simply don't care. To those who say that this is Ollie's team. I disagree. Most of those brought in are on short term deals. He couldn't afford to bring his main targets in because we couldn't afford them. Thats because we had to spend so much paying of players who were no good, yet being paid Premier League wages. That mess was caused in part by Martin Allen. But the buck must stop with the chairman. He sanctioned these moves, and in some cases, instigated them. The players brought in by Ollie on short term deals can, and will I believe, keep us up. That has to be the aim. It has always been the aim. I don't even think Ollie really believed the play offs were possible. I think it was an attemot to make the players blelieve. I certainly laughed the thought off. Once we have survived, Ollie will get rid of the stop gaps he has brought in. We will have a much reduced wage bill. There will be money available. And he has a good track record in the transfer market. Look what he did with Plymouth on next to nothing. Ollie will then build what will become truly his team. Then, and only then, can we judge the man. Managers need time. 3 months is bugger all.

Agree entirely. No matter how shit you're doing, a manager's job should never be under threat after 3 months. Especially when the team that manager has inherited has been shit for so long.

Posted

I think he's still got most people on his side.

And you're right, we should support him. Let's just get through to the end of this season and wait until the Summer. Then we might start to see Holloway changing things. I don't even think Mr Mourinho could have done much with our lot in the time that Holloway's had.

I dont think it matters im definately behind him but Mandaric is not stupid enough to change manager again he must realise we need stability. unless we're still in this situation with 5 games to go and he panics.

I agree we shouldnt be calling for his head BUT he must take responsibilty as well as the players!!! He is making basic mistakes here and if he can't get the players to play on the deck, then he isnt a good leader at all. His substitutions and squad selections are very poor. I'm not looking for miracles here, im just looking for simple errors to be made right. If he does these things and we still losing then fair enough, but FFS dont play 2 lumps up front, dont play strikers on the wing.....SIMPLE STUFF that Ollie can change!!!!

Milans itchy trigger finger scares me. I really am beginning to think that it may have been better to have been taken over by somebody with less cash, who put more emphasis on good management. It would have taken us longer to get where we want to go, and been more difficult to sustain success if we achieved it. But these days, once you get into the Premier League, money comes flooding in anyway. I'm not sure how much I trust Milan with that cash if and when we do eventually go up. Maybe he just got lucky with Harry at Pompey. I think he may have gotten similarly lucky with Ollie. I like him a lot and think he is our best hope.

I don't even think Milan would sack Ollie to be honest.

He's already gone through two others this season, can't see him wanting a fourth. He'll give him time and do the right thing I think.

Does not matter if you agree or not!

After the Cov game he wanted everbody to know that this was now "His Team" and all the result prior to that "Did not count"..

So are things any better? I think not! Yet another false dawn.

It's time to get real - The Carrot Cruncher is a waste of time, what we need is someone like Big Sam Allardyce to physically and mentally scare the mamby-pamby fairy poofters that represent my home town at football, you cannot enforce discipline on kids when you are five foot-odd and weigh five stone, it's time these fairies are grabbed by the throat and physically butt-raped until they understand what it means to earn your money, if you can't give an end product of satisfaction of a reasonable work rate then they should not be payed, you would not pay for anything if it wasn't satisfactory so why pay them? Would you buy a car for ten thousand pounds only to find half the engine worked, would you not take it back or keep it? Wake up and get rid. I'm sure we can find better players on the park on Sunday's who would play for half the money and I want my season-ticket money back as I have not had the promised satisfaction for my money, I suggest we all issue county-court summons against Leicester City for false advertising and mis-selling of goods, this season has consisted of one big fraud. Bunch of Tosspots.

You are either a Plymouth fan or severely retarded. Which is much the same thing.

Typical student, no fu*kin brain, thick as **** and goes to Cov for an education, would have been better off being drowned at birth. No true City fan would lower themselves to go to Cov or Derby or Nottingham. Aribaderchi Gringo. Please do not reply to me again as if you were a true Leicester person, you wouldn't have ever set foot in scum.

Did you go to a university? If no, you have no right to even speak about where he goes for an education.

Do you hate immigrants and homosexuals as well? And as an aside, if you dislike students so much, I hope that you are willing to pay for your kids education in fees and that you are willing to be charged for every visit to your doctor and to hospital. Because without students, these services wouldn't exist for you.

Your attempts at harmful comments towards students merely bounce off our sheilds of arrogance.

Now i must be on my way to collect my free money and enjoy a good nights piss up while you sit at home and bitch about how easy students have it :D
