Uncle Albert Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 Is it possible to close the Transfer page, until it is actually the transfer period then close it when it finishes. Makes sense.
Bryn Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 This gets said absolutely every time a window shuts.... all I can say is, why on earth do you care? Not that it's a bad idea but I just can't see why it would bother anyone. You get the odd transfer rumour floating about between windows anyway, not to mention loan deals are still allowed.

Good point. Why should people have to read stupid stories, what people have found on footballrumours. Whats the point about having a Hume one for him going for £80,000 when he cant go till the summer. When the Loan period closes, close the page.

Nobody has to read anything on here It's simple enough just to avoid any thread labelled as being from Transfer Talk, especially as there are so few of them.
Daggers Posted 11 February 2008 Posted 11 February 2008 Is it possible to close the Transfer page, until it is actually the transfer period then close it when it finishes. Makes sense. Once upon a time I thought it was good to read every post in every forum and poo-poo'd the idea of just not going into Transfer Talk. Trust me, life is really nice when you don't bother...it's as if daft rumours never happened I did hear something about Sir Clive Sinclair coming to be our new centre back though - I wish I could get it confirmed.
DB11 Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 It is better to have a section for people to post it in so you can simply avoid it if you wish to. Close the transfer talk section and people will still post post their transfer rumours in places such as the LCFC Section and that will just mean you'll come across it there. Have a section for people to still post their crap rumours in - just avoid it!

Yeah I agree with that, having a section for the rumours does actually avoid the shite transferring onto the Leicester City Forum.

Well here you go. Confirmed. On a rolling contract, though.
