Babylon Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Why shouldn't be criticise them?I doubt it's hurting their feelings and their professional pride should be a bit knocked - they're not producing. If that doesn't motivate them to prove him wrong, they might as well hang up their boots. Wan kers. Are you talking about the players or the new mods?
The People's Hero Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Are you talking about the players or the new mods? The players. There is nothing wrong with the new mods - there are just too many people with power now - too many cooks. I mean, are you all going to moderate each other?

Geo V Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 He does come out in the media with these rallying cries and to be honest, its just to try and gee us lot up but many are not buying it which is a shame as already people want another change of manager. I suppose some of these dicks are the same ones who had a pop at Megson and now are praising him at Bolton or are the ones who had a go at MON in his first few weeks in charge and then soon changed to calling him a messiah. The bloke has stepped into one of the biggest messes of a football club you are likely to see. On the face of it it looks rosey, £2m signings, International players, Nice stadium, owner with money etc etc but the reality is we have a soulless club that lacks direction and needs some major changes, not just player wise but mentality wise because its been fooked up for a while. Give Ollie time, give him a chance and then judge him instead of all these fookin knee-jerk reacting.
FoxesFan123 Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 He says he can get a few players in on loan, but haven't we had enough loans for a season anyway? Maybe space for one more. We've had Fulop, Clarke, Alnwick, Bori, Zsolt, Howard, Hayles(emergency loans?), Djziri, Ferriera
Shrenchel Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Time for Holloway to go,hes done nothing but upset the players,he promised that players wouldn't play out of position but whats he doing?Aslong as Hayles and Howard are playing hes happy, shame they are both garbage slow and past it! Hume and DJ upfront, get max back on the right wing and Levi on the left! You disabled.
AyewJoking Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 "Holloway said: "If they don't give me it, I'll have to change them. I have told them that and I can still get some new players in on loan. Maybe that is what I will have to do. "We have to face up to where we are in the table. We had a chance to move away from 20th and we didn't take it. "I asked them to step up to the plate. We are in a battle and if they can't cope with it, then there could be more signings because I am not standing for this. the merc" Yeah thats more like it. Whats that you say? you wont be making too many changes to the team for tonights game?
demon_dog Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 It's all very well Ollie asking the players to stand up and be counted, after that awful display on Saturday, but when is he going to stand up and tell us why he picks an unbalanced team. He's stated on many an occassion that Hayles and Howard are not his preference up front, SO WHY PUT THEM TOGETHER AGAIN? Hume is not a right winger also something Ollie is aware of. Why let the team play hoofball, every time our goalie had the ball on Saturday, it was launched upfield to Howard, they had two men on him, he simply cannot win the ball everytime. Let's have some variation. Has he forgotten that he said he wanted us to play football the way it should be played, on the deck. Is our midfield that shit that this is not possible? He's now bought several players in during his time here that I for one think there should be more improvement than we have seen so far. I am not saying Ollie out or anything like that, I am just trying to point out that it's all very well him criticising the players, maybe he should start to criticise himself as well. Maybe then we will start to see some improvement. After all you should learn from your mistakes, can Ollie?
