FM is one of the successors to the original CM series, including 4. The name just changed when Sports Interactive teamed up with Sega instead of Eidos. The modern CM is an entirely new game, but Eidos have the rights to the original game. FM really is excellent. Seriously, play it. By far the best of all the management sims.
