hairy Posted 26 January 2009 Posted 26 January 2009 Archos are the best.Got/ had one for about 3 years. 604 i think and the battery has just gone now only plays half a movie am really tempted to save up for another one. They really are the dogs bollocks I have a 604 and the battery went over Christmas. Played about 5 minutes of video before closing down. Had it about 3 years too. I managed to get a longer lasting battery for about £25

Mine went week before christmas, was on a flight to Egypt with Jet2 watching step brothers half way through the battery went, i was fumeing 4 1/2 hours bord on a flight with no entertainment and no nice cabin crew <_<

I looked at the site tonight and reckoned it scores high in sexiness...but having forked out for everything extra once I am hugely reluctant to do it again. I think Archos has ruled itself out of my plans until it sorts itself out.

Like touch screen ? Who gives a fook. Its bigger aswell and who really is sad enough to watch something on a ipod ?

Yes it plays music and movies but it also has wifi access and internet. You can get all sorts of programs for it, for instance I can use mine to control the music around the house. The touch screen is good but not the be and end all.
