Matt Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 The sniffles came on for me last Friday night, thought nothing off it just a normal cold, Saturday I felt shite but wasn't too bad went out Saturday night, Woke up Sunday morning witha killer hang-over (Or what I thought was) but this whole week i've felt awful, Had a cold, Aching throat, Muscles aching, Headaches, Feeling dizzy and faint, I finally decided on Thursday I should have a day off so phoned in sick, felt much better that day so went back into work Friday and felt like I was going to pass out, I feel abit better today, hopefully i'm coming to the end of it. But spoke to a few people and they said they've had or know people who are feeling similar, must be some virus going round...Hopefully your's is just a common cold though!

Aching muscles? Sounds more like a touch of the flu to me... When you have symptoms like that, you should stay at home and not pass them to others
MikeyT Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Eurghhhh, i am currently suffering from man flu.Barely breathe. Anyone want it? Already got it...and my nose is red raw from all the blowing!
Matt Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Aching muscles? Sounds more like a touch of the flu to me...When you have symptoms like that, you should stay at home and not pass them to others I did think that but it's not really that much of a full blown cold, I've never had flu before so not sure of all the symptoms but I thought cold was a major part of it?! As I said orginally I thought it was flu but now thinking more a virus. Felt better yesterday, woke up this morning feeling abit shit again

With flu your on your bed for at least 3 days with aching bones and without the energy to even move - totally flaked out. It really pisses me off when people have a one day sniffle or come into work and say oh dear I've got flu!

SamL Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Whilst I was on my AS Geography residential last week I suffered with a cold, it made my week miserable. Sore throat, blocked nose, sneezing & coughing. It's cleared up now though thankfully. Mornings are the worst, especially if you have a sore throat.
