It's actually incredibly easy to 'accidentally' close a thread. I've done it numerous times by falling asleep on my keyboard. Mark is usually kind enough to resurrect them for me.

Could've even been me... I did a quick clean up, perhaps I hit one too many little red boxes. It wouldn't be the first time. Accidental closures are usually the most confounding... leaves the entire mod team wondering who did it and why, and wondering if they should re-open or not.
