lavrentis Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 away games you get the true die hards.home games are full of fair weaher fans and windgers. I very much agree with you.
Flexx Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 he did take his shoes of actaully and sheff united fans what else do you need to start you singing 3-0 and u managed 3 songs in the whole game if that Legend.>>>>>> Ollie. Bet he didn't get this much attention at Plymouth. What did u sing to get him to take his shoes off haha. Sounds like you made the day a bit more enjoyable other than the result.
tbf Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 The Blades' support was rubbish. So so quiet. Not what i expected from them, they're usually pretty active.
handsworth blade Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 he did take his shoes of actaully and sheff united fans what else do you need to start you singing 3-0 and u managed 3 songs in the whole game if that well we were waiting for the fourth to go in before we started celebrating.. to be honest mate we are pretty much the same of most fans of this day and age,we sit in our lovely plastic stadium surrounded by women kids and blokes in suits,we have muppets in orange jackets telling us to sit down and stop swearing and we pay a days wages for the privlidge...but as like yourselves the away games are for the proper fans..oh yes. can i just point out that the three lads that got chucked out near the end was an absoulute joke..they were having a bit of banter with the ball boy and one of them jokingly nicked his stool..then the heavy handed muppet stewards moved in and ejected all 3 of them.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Barnsley are in majr trouble, the two games in hand they have are against Hull and Watford don't expect them to get too many points from those games. If we can get a point aginst barnsley and sheff wed and beat Coolchester that should be enough. I would love really love to agree with you.
Uncle Albert Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Just got back. Everything except the result was class. 'Shoes Off For The Lads' amazing. On the way back to the station aload of there fans were throwing glass bottles at us Then the Police took it out on us Leicester fans, got a 12 yeard old lad up by the neck.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I would love to know why holloway started today with fryatt on the left and howard on his own up front.I thought we had a hungarian winger available or is he not good enough.
Paddy Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Just got back from the game, the most entertaining loss i've ever been to. I'm not sure about the whole "shoes off" thing, pretty funny tho.As for the penalty, it was never a penalty, the ref didn't give it, only the linesman who was miles away. Both players were leaning on each other, but that normal isn't it?! If it were outside the box i doubt he'd have even given a foul, but the officials get all excited when something happens in the box. The goal from the freekick was really poor, Hendo really should have done better, likewise with the corner. Hendo really didn't have a great game, sure he saved the penalty but it wasn't a good penalty and he pushed it right back at the penalty taker. I'm on the way back from game now. The defence were poor today. Mattock was beaten everytime. With losing kisnorbo early on to yet another poor decision (so it seems) it was bound to be a disaster. Good penalty save, u can't blame a keeper for pushing it back to the attacker! did well to save it, wheather it was a poor pen or not. 2nd goal was good free kick which took a cruel deflection off mcauley and henderson could not keep hold of it. Can't really pass any blame for that to anyone, but obviously its a shame keeper couldn't push it wide. 3rd goal was an unmarked header, no one picked up beatie, that is poor defending. Yet our problem is still the fact that we can't score. We didn't look dangerous once. Stats say we had 5 shots on target but I can only really remember 1.
Tilley Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Shooes Off! Feels like we won 3-0. Their fans were shit, we were great from before the match to after. The performance was diabolical, even tohugh we were extremely unlucky with the penalty decision and the sending off. Colchester, Barnsley & Sheff Wed are Huuuuuuugge Games. Our fans were amazing, shame the players can't match it. & The ref was shitt. I am beginning to question wether we are staying up or not now

He hit it and hit one of his own payers and went in. Henderson should of saved it. And the third goal was McAuley's fault.
Kilworthfox Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Great day out today. We weren't really that bothered about the football after 10 mins. Ref ruined the match. Kis shoiuld heve been booked and they had a pen as there was a man covering, but the lino gave it. Loads of noise from us from 1st to last whistle. In short our fans were immense today, loads of funny chants, loads of fun, gettin half naked BRILLIANT! All the boys and a few girls who went today were absolute legends and proved we have a really goo hardcore of fans. I was with Ched LD3 Fez Alexikokopops SUAS SamL Tevez Mickey Bert Maybes Brilliant lads, brilliant atmosphere, delighted I spent the match with you boys

handsworth blade Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 i keep seeing comments about the pen was a bad descision, you had a view from behind the goal i was directly in line and your player defo prevented sharpe getting to the ball, imo sharpe would have burried it if he hadn't been fouled,it was only a slight nudge/pull but it was enough, watch the highlights on sky later or ITV tomorrow.

Sharp couldnt score in a **** brothel! Sounds like most of our players actually! Sharp spent more time falling over than anything else. Fans were great to day!
Uncle Albert Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 That's better. The stewards were even laughing at it. Shame the c*nts in that pub didnt appreciate Leicester fans singing.

Tilley Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I wish Leicester fans were at least half as good as that at home.
