lildave3 Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Not tonight, not after today. Has it put the marathon in doubt?
Guest Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Has it put the marathon in doubt? I've got an ice pack on it at the moment, and hoping for the best. After all the training, I am going to be so pissed off.

tartanowl Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 you should have heard the stick the scousers gave paddy kenny last season about his wife fookin off with his best mate..i love paddy with affection but it was proper funny what did they sing? Don't know about the scousers but for us it was "Kenny where's your bird? Kenny, Kenny where's your bird?" and "If you've shagged Kenny's missus clap your hands". I expect a bit more of the same on Tuesday

I think you will struggle are you going mate?
tartanowl Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Do you think you will beat them? I think you will struggle are you going mate? Sadly I'm not. I applied but despite being a season ticket holder and having stubs I couldn't get a ticket. They're only giving us 3000 seats. I'll be at Blackpool a week next Saturday though. Beat them? Nah I think we'll do well to get a point. Our record at the Lane is atrocious and they're in good form at the moment. We're unbeaten in 7 but we're drawing too many and apparently we were appalling against S****horpe today. We managed 1 shot on goal in the first half and did our usual of only turning up in the second half. We've played fairly well of late but it is worrying that we couldn't beat S****horpe. If we take a battering on Tuesday night it could destroy our confidence. We should have put 4 or 5 past them at Hillsborough but it was still sweet beating them 2-0. They're going to want to revenge for that last derby result. I'll happily take a point. Our key games are the home ones against Plymouth and Norwich, and the away games against you and Blackpool. You should fancy your chances against Colchester. They were very poor when we played them recently. Good result for them today though. I think we'll both end up safe. Just. I still fancy either Barnsley or Southampton for the drop even after their win today. What do you think?

Honestly it now looks like you are struggling after 7 games without loss now you have 2 games where you have struggled against poor opposition, and S****horpe were terrible against us last week. Southampton looked resigned to relegation last week now looking better. Leicester are predictably unpredictable but will get out of this because, we can pick up points against the poor-ish opposition including you boys. Barnsley now look favourites for me, with their cup run, it may take their minds off of their relegation fight. Also we always beat Barnsley! I am hoping for this tradition to continue.

It's completely unpredictable. I'm sure it'll be all change again after next weekends results too. Like you say hopefully the Dingles win tomorrow so they've got the cup distraction that bit longer.

FilboFox Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 He always spouts the same repetitious tripe. Young and inexperienced, that lad. Just a little optimism... I know we were shit today and deserved to lose... but its over... game has finished, we got no points so MOVE ON. I'm looking ahead to the Colchester game now where there are 3 more points that we could win!
Kilworthfox Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 We're having a party when Wisey dies. I'm bringing a Wise themed set of balloons and plates Is it fancy dress?
handsworth blade Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 what did they sing? the list is endless they were at it the whole 45 mins paddy was in the bramall lane goal, she's here she's there she's every **** where paddys wife, paddys wife....paddys missis always cheating....he shagged her 5 times her shagged her 5 times paddys best mate he shagged her five times.. poor lad was tryingto ignore em
escape2victory Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 Just seen the peno incident on the Championship. It wasnt a peno, Sharp appeared to clip his own heel. But got to say its shocking defending from Kisnorbo to begin with. Trying to anticipate the flick on, ang got it hopelessly wrong. Why isnt he 5 or 10 yards back from McAuley and Beattie. Such a shame he has the footballing brain the size of a pea. How we could do with a Matt Elliott back there to organise the troops.

Thracian Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 So yet another distant linesman gives something he clearly couldn't see properly and doubtless the effectively cheating arsehole will get away with it. It's time there was some explanations forthcoming from these habitual mistake-makers who are so bleeding keen to catch the limelight but so anonymous when they've done their damage. And where was the linesman from anyway? Gleadless?
handsworth blade Posted 6 April 2008 Posted 6 April 2008 yes it was a little harsh if i'm honest..ive just watched it,we did have a stone walled pen turned down in the 2nd half though...even ollie mentioned the "shoes" incident in his interview aswell
