Daggers Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I am delighted with today - we found a lovely kennels for the dog and had a smashing chocolate chip cookie. In a little bit, the new series of Dr Who starts. Mandaric out.
shiv Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 We are now 20th, level on points with Sheff Wed and they still have a game in hand. Tis not looking good...
Matt Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I'm very happy today, Had a good day watching the racing, I could laugh at my own teams disfortune because I wasn't listening I didn't feel so "involved" and i've took the players view of the situation and gave up, It was quite good actually. And i've won abit of money, What more could I want
shiv Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 ... And 1 point off relegation when Barnsley have 2 games in hand
Webbo Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Well I can't laugh about it, I'm as sick as a pig. But tbf I never expected us to get a win and this game wasn't 1 of the games we had to win.
WetFlannel Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Not too bad. At least we gave a spirited performance and lost with our head's held high. Twats.
FilboFox Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 OK, so we lost one... yes, it was very poor but we can bounce back and hopefully will! It was a freak 10 minutes when we let the goals in and I'm sure/hopeful that it won't happen again... we just need to forget this one and get on with next game against Colchester, no points today but 3 up for grabs next weekend! COME ON LEICESTER!
Cal Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 It was bound to happen tbh, we havnt had consistency for years
MC Prussian Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I don't care anymore. Sorry. There are more important things in life at the moment. See you all again in League One next season. Byyeeees!
breadandcheese Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I don't know about anybody else but I'd written this game off a while back. Our key games are those against the teams around us. We need to beat Colchester and ensure we don't lose to Barnsley and Wednesday. Do that and we will stay up, whether it's by the skin of our teeth or not. Doom and gloom it's not.

COME ON LEICESTER! Who are you talking about? Because I don't quite think the Leicester City players are capable of that...They certainly haven't been all season, and surly i'd be a case of too little too late soon.
tartanowl Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Our game in hand is at the Lane on Tuesday which is never a happy hunting ground for us. They're confidence will be high after stuffing you today too. We were poor today. The team didn't turn up. 7 unbeaten now but drawing with S****horpe isn't good enough. Southampton winning was very bad news for both of us. Looks like our game coming up could be a decider.
Flexx Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Barnsley are going down. I can feel it. Wednesday, 09 April 2008 Watford v Barnsley, 19:45 Saturday, 12 April 2008 Preston v Barnsley, 15:00 Tuesday, 15 April 2008 Barnsley v Hull, 19:45 Saturday, 19 April 2008 Barnsley v Leicester, 15:00 Saturday, 26 April 2008 Barnsley v Charlton, 15:00 Sunday, 04 May 2008 Cardiff v Barnsley, 14:00
Guest shearfox Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 Barnsley are in majr trouble, the two games in hand they have are against Hull and Watford don't expect them to get too many points from those games. If we can get a point aginst barnsley and sheff wed and beat Coolchester that should be enough.

Legend_in_blue Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I think you need to realise just how bad we've been this season. We've been bad, yes. But the opposition? Much better? I think not.
MC Prussian Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I think you need to realise just how bad we've been this season. He always spouts the same repetitious tripe. Young and inexperienced, that lad.

Your getting us confused with them, I havn't seen Barnsley play too much this season, so can't say too much myself and obviously they have been fairly poor to be in this position however they may have players capable of actually playing, fighting for a win, unlike our poor excuses of players. Your saying you don't see Barnsley picking points up against Hull and Watford which on form and paper, i'd agree. Equally though I don't see us getting even a point again Barnsley, Sheff Wed, or Colchester.
Wycombe Fox Posted 5 April 2008 Posted 5 April 2008 I've got a ball pein hammer and twenty-eight 6" nails. I'm going to nail my feet to the floor. Much more fun and less painful than listening to Leicester play and Gollum's post-match drivel. Cockbadgers.

No more points scored again this season? 4 losses straight? LLLL. Are you serious?
