Just started a mini syndicate with a couple of mates. Obviously it's a hugely risky thing to do but at the same time can make great returns. Just playing with small amounts at the moment.

If you don't know what Spread Betting is it's basically betting on price movements on shares/currencies/commodities and other malarky.

Anyone tried it before? Any lessons learned?

If you are gonna play this game you need to have your finger on the pulse. I only bet on commodities or trade on futures of commodities that I have up to date (morning and afternoon) inside access to knowledge of.

Otherwise play the lottery.

If you are doing it for fun, only play with pennies you can afford to lose.
