Father Ted Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Girl or gay? I thought a gay at first But you can tell by her profile that she's a girl.
The People's Hero Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Depends how much you want to win the football match and, for people in great pain, despair or hopelessness, how much you care about losing your life. Everyone seems to be a prat to you, apart from your friends, of course. Right, so you'd say that you'd put the value of your own life as equal to the value of a Leicester win? Mate, I'd rather Leicester got beat than ANYONE off here died.
Ultra Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 City to win by 2 or 3 goals. One would think so. Howard and Hume should have Matt Heath on toast. Still wouldn't get us off death row though...
Jack Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 My heart says a win but I can just see Col U coming out and playing the game of their lives and holding out for a draw, maybe even nick a win.
StroudFox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 I reckon it will be a scrappy 1-1 draw but am hoping for a win.
claridges'_socks Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 I think our defence can deal with them, its just a matter of who,if anyone can stick the round leathery thing into the big rectangle netty thing
colbo68 Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 I think a wins on the cards, my son's not going gonna be controversial here but the prospect of going down may not be too bad. The club certainly needs a shake-up and the time to bring through the youth players without the pressure of our fans demanding immediate success. I can see a team in division one, consisting of Ashley Chambers, Lee Cox, Andy King and the like to probably do pretty well and to gain the confidence that our youngsters need. This may be better long-term than spending big on signings that consistently do not perform - to go down may help to fulfill the long-term vision for the club and put us on a sound footing for the future - to get rid of DJ, Howard etc... will give the youth the best chance possible to be playing consistently and gaining confidence. Just a point of view....of course, the prospect of some of the division one fixtures would not be as appealing.

The pressure of success is down to one person and that is Milan Mandaric, he's the one who promised Premiership football within 3 years - it's not unrealistic for fans to expect more than a relegation battle in the first year. Getting relegated and rebuilding as a means of getting back on an even keel is a myth. Our current debt base and overheads would be too much to bear in a lower league besides the expections of an immediate return to the Championship by the fans would dwarf any pressure created this season.
